The Corcoran Group: An intense wine bar that you’ve probably walked by a million times and never noticed. The sommeliers are AMAZING as are the Ostrich Sliders and the Bobotie Pies.
Dulcita Coco: Perfect date night place with some of the best South African wines I've ever had outside of SA. Possibly my new fav wine bar in the city :)
Steven Vega: The best place in town for either a nice meal or wine and snacks. They have an amazing selection of wine, cheese and dried meats for their bar snacks as well as a great dinner menu.

Dina: Always busy, claustrophobic, awesome. Great food - only cold dishes, wonderful wine list and a fun vibe. Romesco soft egg is delicious as are the mussels escabeche. Come early, place fills up by 6pm.
Valentin Guerin: When Casa Mono is crowded, stop at Bar Jamon for great tapas and wine! Try the Pan Con Tomate, awesome.
Alexis Convento: I've had many wonderful nights at Jamon - incredible wine selection, delicious tapas, lovely service & the best ambiance. Very cozy & intimate - perfect place to impress a special someone.

Social News Network: Run by Mario Batali, Eatlay has everything you need from Italy. Handmade pasta - yes, delicious meats - check, fresh cheese - of course, wine bar - you betcha, and handmade pizza - duh.
Ricardo Costa: Hard to say what is better here! Pizza &Pasta is delicious for a relaxing dinner. But there is also the wine bar, perfect for happy hour. Anyway, once in NYC, must visit this place!!
Compass: A must-see for tourists and neighbors alike, Eataly offers excellent gelato, cheeses, meats, and wines.

Serious Eats: A charming, intimate French bar and restaurant from chef Jody Williams, equally fun for a quiet breakfast, the lively dinner scene, or a late-night bite and glass of wine.
Magda Koj: Great spot for a date. Delicious food, especially the artichoke tartines, steak tartar and the croque. Enjoy a glass of wine and a desert as well.
