The place is small, so make a reservation well in advance. Tuesday nights are awesome for good Soul Food, Live Music (jam session), a Killin DJ, and Dancing over dinner. A top 10 thing to do in NYC!

Some of the best soul food in Harlem. Can get a bit noisy with the acoustics but the food is always a win. Peach cobbler is bomb. Great service and lovely decor.

It's all about the cheese here. Start w/ Hot Blue Cheese Potato Chips (as decadent & fabulous as they sound!) & end with Mac & Cheese (one of the greatest renditions of this classic dish ever made).
The cheddar chive biscuits are to die for. But the pancakes with salted caramel sauce are a whole class of their own. Highly highly recommend!
Oyster sandwich (slider) is stellar! Honey butter biscuits that come w/ fried chicken is the real deal. Pecan duck w/ dirty rice is my new fave meal! If there's coconut cream pie-- get it.

One of the best meals I've had in NYC. Lobster mac & cheese is everything they've said it is and for dessert, don't miss the date pudding! It's absolutely amazing.
Our go to comfort food spot in the neighborhood. Get the Mac & Cheese and the Artichoke Salad. Their beer selection is great (always a few options on "special" for $5).

This place has started getting popular! I recommend the Sausage Biscuit, but the Cuban biscuit, avocado biscuit and pancake stack are also great. Great selection of fancy teas too.
