- Gabriel SeahJanuary 12, 2021Musoshin Ramen is Toronto's first location of a Japanese chain, dealing not only in bowls of ramen but also Japanese sweets and baked goods.
- Gabriel SeahJanuary 8, 2023The ramen was good. The stock was good & rich & the noodles had a good texture. The chashu had a nice grilled flavor; there was a good amount of fat but the marbling could be better.
- Gabriel SeahJanuary 8, 2023Japanese curry was very good. It was very thick & there was quite a bit of meat. It was served with purple rice. The pickle was not the usual red pickle.
- Gabriel SeahJanuary 8, 2023The owner also has bakes, which she was doing before she made ramen. Yogurt cheesecake was decent; the crumb was a bit wet. There was a sour yogurt flavour in the cheese as expected.
- Gabriel SeahJanuary 8, 2023Musoshin Red (level 1) was the first time I'd seen okra in Ramen. It was mild, but spicier then I expected. The beef was very tender & tasty.
- Gabriel SeahJanuary 8, 2023The karaage was good; a bit overfried for Japanese fried chicken but but still ok. It was tasty & juicy. The egg was nicely done; though light in flavour the texture of the yolk was right.
- Gabriel SeahJanuary 8, 2023Strawberry mochi had red bean & a whole strawberry inside. There is a certain intellectual appeal to that, but it spoiled the texture.
- Gabriel SeahJanuary 8, 2023Run by JP lady who learnt ramen making virtually. The quality does not suffer though. First ramen place I've seen with gluten free ramen. Unfortunately also first ramen place I've seen without gyoza.
