There are two Margheritas on the menu: classic and Margherita DOC. The classic is the most affordable personal pie on this list, a great little pizza with fresh mozz and a decent chewy crush.

Using an almost-Chipotle style, diners rack up toppings then wait mere minutes before the wood-fired oven spits out pies. Even better, the service goes until 2 a.m. each evening. Read more

Pies come topped with high quality ingredients and are totally affordable, starting at just $5.35. No surprise that others in Los Angeles and across the country have copied the idea. Read more

Cheap prices and extremely fast. Probably not the most amazing Neapolitan pizza but still pretty good. Served with a tasty Calabrian chili sauce.

Excellent pizza. I always go with my "piccante" the spicy so press at a pizza. I was for the first time at their new shop that is right next door for pizza to go. Big mistake: unbelievably slow.

Neapolitan thin crust pies cooked in a wood-burning oven, with fresh mozzarella made exclusively for the restaurant. More good stuff: Gelato by L.A. Creamery (bring your dates, boys) & craft beer. Read more

I love the pizza here! The prices are fair and the soda machine is fun. They offer delivery and take-out options. For dessert you can purchase ice cream from LA Creamery. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

It's good. The pizza tastes like fire. I like fire. And I like pizza. The dough is pretty good. The sauce too. Still, haven't found a place that beats Joe's Pizza in Santa Monica yet.

Sausage and peppers! Be sure to get it well done, otherwise the dough might not be cooked through. You'll still need to use a fork, but the pie will taste a hell of a lot better.

Truffle pizza is good. Everything is baked in wood furnace! Sometimes the pizza is soggy. Tip: limit the toppings to two or three to enjoy it.

Get a bianca pizza if you find the margherita pizza too wet! My fave: roasted garlic, broccolini, fontina, and arugula on a bianca :)
