- Catherine JoAugust 26, 2014Had absolutely stunning tapas here. Try and take a table as the bar stools not the most comfy. Scallops, tomato salad, lamb and grilled duck dishes were really lovely. Friendly service, worth a visit!Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Very Good ServiceJune 9, 2017A tapas based restaurant in London theatre land. Very good service, tasty tapas selection with just one or two disappointments. Look out for what others are ordering....if they look like regulars.
- Cenker KöseApril 5, 2016I felt myself in a local and traditional Spanish pinchos bar here! Start with grilled bread with olive oil: it was served just after ordering, warm and very nice and order haddock croquettes!
- Ezgi GencelMarch 18, 2013Great wine list, excellent burger, great tapas.... Kitchen is closed until 5, but do get the burger for sure. The Spanish charcuterie plate was very good too.
- Gary SimmonsSeptember 13, 2013Probably the best tapas in London, with service to match. Have the Sea Bass Ceviche and the Turrón Parfait . Read our full review on Scoff London: http://scofflondon.com/4-star/opera-tavern-wc2/
- TeeNovember 8, 2014The pork belly with cannellini beans was dreamy. And courgette flowers are always a highlight too. Ask for upstairs seating when booking.
- Jason H.February 4, 2016Boquerones! And all kinds of great tapas. The iberico ham is amazing as well. Go upstairs for a quieter experience.
- Ashley ChanSeptember 22, 2017Some unique tapas dishes- would highly recommend the Octopus carpaccio (!!), chorizo with eggplant & Spanish scotch egg. However, the goat cheese courgette was a bit too strong & the fish was dry.
- Evening StandardJune 20, 2012Go off piste and try the Iberico pork and foie gras burger. It’s tapas, so these burgers are mini, but spectacular. The patty rests upon a bed of aioli, red onion marmalade and butterhead lettuce. Read more
- Daren WilliamsApril 9, 2016Highlights: mini foie gras burger, ham croquettes, Iberico secreto combo, rosemary nuts, all desserts, and homemade lemonade with mint!
- Levent AkgermanFebruary 24, 2018Saltyard Group is indeed a success in London. Chorizo on yogurt, cod cheeks, pork loin and fig pinchos, pork cheeks are brilliant.

- Kurt HaaNovember 5, 2016The foie grass mini burger is very good and the Scottish eggs too! Very good wine selection and friendly staff.
- David GrahamSeptember 25, 2013Tapas restaurant opposite Theatre Royal. Meant to have the best burgers in London. Don't forget it's tapas so the burgers are small
- Mini Iberico & Foie Gras burger and Corguette Flower - don't even think about it!! Amazing!! The boquerones are great as well.

- Essie SAugust 25, 2014Lovely tapas! Wine was also really good. Quite expensive for the tiny portions though.
- Toto EllisFebruary 26, 2011Awesome Salt Yard spinoff. Menu is very much it's own though with unique dishes. Try the Salt Cod and the Mini Burger and something from the Charcoal Grill.
- Marjorie CJuly 28, 2012Must have the calf's liver skewer, crispy pig ears, mini foie burgers, and a bottle of Elias Mora. Chorizo was a tad salty.
- Max Tatton-BrownFebruary 1, 2013Foie Gras burger is unmissable. Everything else is brilliant - but try not to make the mistake of only ordering the richest things on the menu...
- Sergio AAugust 16, 2014Great choice of sherry. Good food, service and ambience. Mini burgers are delicious.
- Andy FurbyNovember 6, 2022Gluten free squid was amazing. Sadly lots of other dishes where disappointing, cold, dry, we sent back dishes, staff where apologetic. Also had missing dishes, staff where apologetic…. Meh
