- LilyJanuary 14, 2018NYT Hungry City (12/2017): "Moo ping (pork skewers); mataba (curried lamb pastry); pad Thai; khanom jeen nam ya poo (crab curry); sai oua (sausage); pad bai horapha (short ribstir-fry); milk toast."
- Andrea ZvinakisSeptember 27, 2017Got the shrimp pad thai, curry noodles, and crab omelette. Everything was tasty but the shrimp pad thai was clearly the yummiest and perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to return to try everything else!
- UBS’s papaya salad with avocado (and, if you’re super hungry, chicken) is a perfect lunch. Add a house-made sparkling limeade, find bliss.
- Mike WinstonDecember 11, 2017Totally & unapologetically authentic Thai food. The space may be tiny, but they don't pull any punches with the use of fish sauce & Thai chiles. Don't miss the Laab or Thai Sausage. WinstonWanders.com
- It’s a takeout Thai restaurant serving decidedly non “Thai takeout” cooking. I’m here once a week, here’s the order: beef basil stir fry, plus any of the appetizers. They’re all good.
- AAugust 28, 2019Eater: thick sai oua sausage served in a hot dog bun, a crab omelette with a peanut-filled yellow curry sauce, and a pork shank braised to tenderness with mustard greens. Beer and wine available.
- AlexOctober 17, 2017modestly priced and interesting twists on classics! the khao kha moo is everything on a cold day
- Zucchini RoseOctober 9, 2017Really good flavors. Portions Thai sized. Beef short rib was delicious but would have expected the beef to be more tender. Roti/curry starter and chicken laab was great.
- Curried lamb pastry to start, then the phat thai or Thai omelette with crab or duck leg rice! Milk toast to end if you’re still not full. Small space so just grab some take out if it’s too packed.
- The rainbow Swiss chard is really nice and light if you need a quick snack. The chili oil spice gives it a nice kick.
- Kevin O'NeillFebruary 19, 2018You know that feeling when you discover a great new takeout joint? Enjoyed everything from the fried chicken to Phat Thai noodles and Phat Bai. Eye watering spice.
- Lili BazAugust 21, 2019Best quick food spot in Nolita! Must get the roti with pumpkin curry! The beef Thai basil and fried egg is excellent to!
- Gregory FisherJanuary 14, 2018Best thing was the lamb pastry off the snack menu. Everything else was a little underwhelming
- Great low-key spinoff from it's Michelin starred brother. Fried chicken larb, sauteed beef, and Pad Thai all very tasty.
- AmateurConciergeNovember 12, 2017Takeout spot from the Uncle Boons crew. High quality, solid price point. Not too many seats
- DustinDecember 1, 2017They pack the components of the chicken laab separately to-go, so nothing’s soggy when you sit down to eat.
- Elisabeth LongshoreJanuary 5, 2018Expensive, but some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had my entire life!
- Beef basil stir fry was good but not amazing. Pad Thai was amazing!
- Foxxy BApril 16, 2018Very strong flavors. Unapologetically authentic. Very direct, no nonsense service. Tiny place (maybe 8 seats inside).
- Marianna FierroMay 31, 2018Sitting outside with a cold beer and Aeb Plaa makes for a pretty great evening
- Honghui YuNovember 19, 2017This is the cheaper, more casual sister restaurant to Uncle Boons. Unfortunately, the pad thai here is a disappointment.
