Relocated from east Oakland, Grocery Cafe offers the same delicious Burmese fare just off Jack London. Love the tea leaf salad and Mohinga fish rice noodle soup. The premium tea selection is great.

Meaty roti + thick paratha to start. Creamy mohinga fish curry with noodles is a feast. Crunchy fermented tea leaf and ginger salads are great. The owner is always there as a warm friendly impresario.

The food is great! And not too spicy. The mango pork is great (doesn't actually taste like sweet mango)!

Just as pricey as Burma Superstar but a bit more homey. Samusa appetizer portion is huge, tea leaf salad is fantastic.
