- Brace ClementJuly 25, 2017The food was amazing and the staff was on point. This restaurant might be one of the talks of Seattle in a year or two. Its that good! Try the 'shrimp & grits' and the collard greens.
- Drew MilamFebruary 24, 2018Nothing flashy from the outside, but amazing Southern food! Mac & Cheese is a must on Thursday nights, otherwise you can’t go wrong with some biscuits and catfish with grits. Good cocktails too!
- Yiling WongAugust 14, 2017Try the Reconnaisance cocktail, biscuits, fried pig ears, charred okra, and if you're there on Sunday, the fried chicken! Yumyumyummmm. Fyi this is a gratiuity-included restaurant. Kudos!
- AmateurConciergeNovember 4, 2018Rated the best new resto in Seattle. Had brunch and the pork cutlet sandwich was awesome. Really good pimento as well. Cut them some slack Foursquarers!
- Felicity MouldJune 19, 2018Lives up to the hype - worth the wait and just work in some time to get stuff done or go for a cocktail. A little speak easy beside it would make a killing!!!
- Daniel RossiJune 24, 2019Go early to get your seat for Sunday fried chicken. We hung out at the bar for an hour and ate there. Everything was terrific.
- Tyler SzaboJanuary 28, 2019The food is certainly good but I'm not sure if it's worth the wait if you're unlucky enough to get there when it's busy; or get a bunch of friends to be a large enough group for a reservation.
- Scott RoseSeptember 15, 2017This is an extremely loud room, and they don't take reservations, but the food, drinks, and service are all good. I had the fried chicken - Sundays only - and partner had a big pork chop.
- Caitlin ClementsJuly 20, 2017Named by Eater as America's next great southern restaurant in July 2017.
- Luis Antonio RodriguezApril 2, 2019OMG! OMG! This is my new favorite place to eat in Seattle! You must try the Jerk Quail...I highly recommend it.
- Alex RobertsonMarch 25, 2019Fried chicken dinner was good—maybe not great?—but I’d love to try other menu options one day
- Jon PriceNovember 5, 2023everything we ordered except the biscuits was too salty - and some of our party typically enjoys more salty food.
- Jon PriceNovember 5, 2023limited menu and it’s common for them to run out of items. go early - before 8pm if not earlier - if you want full choice.
- Joanna Pena-BickleyNovember 16, 2018Fried chicken Sundays and Brisket Fridays are one hella homecoming
- John The BastardJuly 2, 2017Tiny, expensive portions. Rude staff. The antithesis of what I want from Southern food. Avoid.
