- Naeemah LeonardApril 16, 2016Just pick a bunch of things on the menu and try them - it's a foodie journey! But the radish toast, the oysters and the BBQ Kohlrabi are delightful. And don't forget the wine! #GreatDateSpot
- Benjamin Joffe-WaltFebruary 12, 2018Creative high quality dishes in a well designed place. It’s a pit pricy and the Linguini was too spicy but the carrots dish is fantastic, there were good vegetarian options and great cocktails.
- Oz LublingOctober 15, 2016This is one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn. No question! Innovative food that's incredibly delicious. Amazing flavors. Th pasta dishes are excellent and the Paloma cocktail is awesome.
- Vlada MashkovichSeptember 8, 2018Great small plates. Loved the seafood dishes. It’s more fun when you share. Great bartender. I asked for a classic cocktail not on the menu (gin gimlet) and they did a great job - many mess it up.
- Melissa YuDecember 8, 2018Well-designed space, and very bustling on a Friday evening. Witness the action at the chefs counter. Reco: steak tartare, carrots and monkfish. Great for sharing plates.
- Stephanie JohnsonMarch 1, 2017Warm & welcoming atmosphere. Sitting at the kitchen bar was a visual feast. Solid meal, but a bit heavy on sea salt as a garnish. My favorite bites this visit: beef tartare & choc pudding cake.
- Elizabeth SpiersSeptember 29, 2016Love their food, but their wine list is inexplicable. Only Beaujolais if you want a red, which doesn't go with most of their food. (And if you hate Beaujolais, as i do, you're fucked.)
- Great place for a #dinnerdate. Cocktail & wine selection matches the well thought out menu (which has subtle changes often). A great addition to the surrounding once sparse neighborhood. must visit!
- F. BastardMay 6, 2016Sexy space. Wood-fired oysters, carrots with dukkah, charred leeks and soft-shell crabs are great. 3 slices of steak on lukewarm mashed potatoes not so much. Love the Chenin Blanc/Beaujolais focus.
- Megan MApril 21, 2016Great staff and atmosphere. We had the octopus, lamb pasta, asparagus with crab, and lobster with morels. Everything was perfect. You can tell the chef has a magical touch for combining flavors!
- Everything we had was amazing! Sit in the back at the counter so you can see all the action! Get the rabbit in a jar!!
- AmateurConciergeMarch 12, 2017This spot was poppin on Saturday night. Duck was particularly good as was the Frostee n Fries dessert...or maybe it was a scoop of the salted butter scotch ice cream that got me
- Elizabeth BakhashSeptember 19, 2016Fantastic spot! Everything had a ton of flavor. My favorites were the duck, scallops, swordfish and the clam chowder. I don't think you can go wrong here, though!
- Erin Schulte CollierJuly 26, 2016Best place we've been in Brooklyn in years. Every plate was amazing but the favorites: corn pudding, pork, wood fired oysters. A big scoop of cobbler for dessert.
- LaurenSeptember 4, 2016The soft shell crab with corn was phenomenal - really excellent flavor combination, salty and sweet. The duck was also really delicious... Everything was beyond great.
- AudreyFebruary 26, 2017What's good-not the service. Food great, but got salad to start + 2 brunch plates w/drinks. Salad came w/duck hash, grits came 10min later, drinks came after food done. 30min w/no water, empty plates.
- Tom 😎 CraginFebruary 11, 2018My burger was good, however the puntarelle salad (although good) was extremely overpriced for the size. The staff was rude and cold. Also, their site says they're open until 3p, but close at 2:45.
- KinoMarch 10, 2016This farm-to-table restaurant is named after a mill that once stood on the shores of Gowanus Creek. It opens in 4/2016 and will serve wood-fired meat, fish, & veggies.
- Erika PerziJuly 5, 2016Delicious menu, including wood oven oysters that are divine. Wine list is nothing like I have seen, focusing on specific varietals and insanely long.
- Brian PApril 28, 2016Duck was awesome! No tipping is a nice policy. Get one of the seats at the kitchen counter and watch Chef create - dinner & a show.
- Katie DanforthFebruary 19, 2018You’d have an awesome meal if you just picked menu items at random. Everything is a revelation.
- katharine ricciFebruary 9, 2017Get the Brussel Sprouts for sure - the trick is they are deep fried. You can skip the octopus. The duck was fantastic.
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantMarch 10, 2017sit at the chef's counter if you are alone or a two-some. super cool to watch the theater of the kitchen.
- Annabelle EmmAugust 18, 2016The duck, BBQ Kohlrabi, and scallops were incredible but everything was lovely. Still not sure if we were supposed to tip or not, though! They make it a little confusing.
- Leo KimAugust 19, 2016Great addition to the up-and-coming Gowanus area. Recommend the wood-fired oysters and fluke ceviche.
- Charles BMay 8, 2016awesome new spot in Gowanus. cocktails were top notch. soft shell crab and duck were highlights.
- Mike CilientoJune 6, 2016If dining with just 2 people: request a seat at the bar/kitchen in the back. Watch the chefs at work.
- Alex SaretzkyAugust 12, 2018This place’s Foursquare score is way too low! We had the dry aged duck, the clam linguini, oysters and heirloom tomatoes. They’re cooking with magic in that kitchen.
- JaclynAugust 7, 2016Corn custard, scallops, soft shell crab. Sit at the kitchen bar and watch the chefs work
- Vivek BhagwatApril 6, 2016Rabbit in a jar, dry aged duck, and all the vegetables and cocktails are all great
- phil morganApril 26, 2016All of it is good, the service, food and Drinks!! The wine list is a must go to.
- eric bornemannJuly 21, 2020Limited menu but always something interesting to try. Great Hungarian wine selections.
- Get the BBQ Kohlrabi and thank me later...the duck was also cooked to perfection
- Beni ChhunMay 2, 2017Soooo good: BBQ kohlrabi, Beef tartare, duck with crispy cranberries, huckleberry clafoutis
- Megan GilbrideMay 13, 2016Creative and interesting menu, great service, cool atmosphere and location
- James John (Jay) Cudney IVFebruary 4, 2017Oysters, tartare and agnolotti were fantastic. So was the wine!
- Inna GDecember 15, 2018Small portions for the price. Broccolini and Brussel sprouts are good. Shrimp risotto are mushy and fishy, the carrots are very sweet.
- Andrew SJuly 29, 2016Lacks any concept of what it means to be in the hospitality industry! Prepare for the bait & switch -- They DO **ASK** FOR GRATUITY, despite recent "no-tipping" model publicity.
