- Jessica AnsaldiNovember 2, 2016The steamed dumplings are delicious as is the sticky rice dish. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very cool. Had a drink at the bar and moved to the table. Will be back.
- Chris ReedAugust 18, 2017The absolute crispiest pork belly crackling. Very generous portion too. But also loved the steamed broccoli, and, in fact all of the dumplings. Knocks 'chain' dim sum places into a cocked steamer.
- Lewis TMarch 19, 2016Vibrant and fun place for those on or near Lower Clapton Road. Currently don't do take out. Food is tasty and authentic - turnip cake was a tasty surprise. Everything worth trying.
- Evina DiamOctober 13, 2018Very tasty menu. Especially the dumplings with the crab and the one with the prawns were divine. Also very nice interiors, well done for the beautiful “secret” garden!
- S AApril 29, 2018The steamed scallops with glass noodles, har gau, steamed rice and Chinese bbq glazed boneless chicken leg were so good. A lovely place with a great vibe, a must visit.
- Katerina BristOctober 14, 2018Pork belly, fish dumplings and fried wontons were delicious. 25£ set menu for bookings which at the end vs quantity sounded a bit expensive. But overall impressed by the place and it’s secret garden!
- Mag WalczakApril 6, 2018Amazing, vegan and gluten options were satisfying, everything tasted really great but total bill was a bit of a surprise £75 with glass of wine and sake for two. Wow!
- Ashley DandoMay 30, 2018Good Food, the classic dishes were the best. Pork Belly and the Prawn dumplings were my highlight. The specials were not very special, stick with the main menu.
- A.May 2, 2016Great to have a spot like this in E5 / E9. Authentic dim sum, but Shanghai Dalston still pips it for variety and quality (if not for on-trend interior design)
- A.May 2, 2016Vegetarians relatively well catered for here, just order one each of each dim sum with a (V) next to it and you’ll be good
- Kaye AllenAugust 26, 2018Great rice 🍚 🙏🏼 Pak Choi was yum! Chocolate crispy (‘spring’) rolls and salted caramel sauce for afters 🤤
- KMarch 10, 2016You must leave room for the chocolate dumplings. The cocktails are good. Definitely get several platters to share. The pork belly is delicious too :)
- Portuguese Woman O'warOctober 3, 2017Lamb dumplings is a most, pork belly is a most, fried wontons is a most! This place is a most!
- Raci MurphyMay 2, 2019Amazingly tasty and delicious food. Highly recommend. Get there early to avoid a wait but also check out the great sake bar downstairs 🥟
- Ceara PixieAugust 10, 2016The pork belly is beaaaaautiful. I'm still thinking about it. A definite must if you're in the area
- IngridJuly 17, 2016Tasty authentic menu, all made from scratch, friendly staff, great atmosphere, yummy desert & sake cocktails🍚🍶
- Kukkii KoppeeMarch 12, 2017Dumplings are either very bland (prawn dumplings) or are overpowered by a single flavour (very gingery siu mai & too much black pepper in the spinach cod dumpling). The dishes need more R&D.
- HenrikNovember 26, 2016The food was good as ever but the service was terrible! No table water offered, drinks arrived after, er, 20 mins (had to ask twice!) and then forgot to tender the bill. Disappointing.
- KOctober 9, 2016My second tip because when I went back this time, it was terrible! Cramped, inattentive service, salty and COLD food. We cancelled our dessert and left as soon as we could!
