- naveenNovember 30, 2018start with a few skewers. as a main, the tenderloin is delicious and is really perfect for sharing. a glass of pechuga to drink, with ice on the side.Upvoted Apr 12
- Giovanni D'PalmaAugust 28, 2016My highlight was the wonderfully balanced and exquisite caviche; however the staff and ever other dish we had was exquisite. Highly recommend the duck sausage as well. Try a dessert if you have room
- Antichuco. Amazing starters (all 4). Quinoa is a MUST. I vote the beef tenderloin (pictured) when deciding between the chicken and the tenderloin. It's not as heavy as it looks and is so so good!
- Noah WeissMay 21, 2016Peruvian food from an EMP chef with a vibe perfect for dates. "Llama del Ray" is a great sangria riff. Lamb belly, fluke ceviche with plantains, and quinoa that tastes like a BLT.
- Kiwi WangJune 12, 2018Incredible!! Every dish was so flavorful (scallop, beef heart, and sweetbread skewers and lamb belly entree were amazing). Super friendly staff but can take a while to get a drink (only 3 bartenders)
- Caroline SchulweisAugust 21, 2017Beautifully presented Peruvian food. Loved the beets, seafood, and short rib. Lots of seating options including a rooftop and chef's counter.
- Memo S.December 2, 2015The cocktails are good - Llama del Rey has a silly name but is the right kind of sweet cocktail. The ceviche is very tasty and the chicken is superbly portioned and comes with 3 different sauces.
- Two people? Get the Ceviche, Pork Belly, Rock Shrimp, and Lime pie. Three? Ceviche, Pork Belly, Chicken Thigh, Quinoa, Rock Shrimp, Sea Trout, Lime Pie and Peruvian Chocolate
- Jenna Odett LaskinFebruary 25, 2019Awesome, trendy, and delicious. Excellent cocktails, super service, and best Peruvian food I’ve had. Don’t miss the branzini 🐟 (ceviche, scallop skewer, quinoa, broccoli, also memorable)
- JKAugust 16, 2021Try Humita and mushrooms, perfectly steamed corn cake and earthy mushrooms, Cevice of corvina, habenero, red onion and cilantro added spice, plus slices of ripe plantain & Lime curd pie
- EaterDecember 21, 2015Peruvian restaurant with small plates. Items include chicken thighs and beef hearts on skewers, duck sausage with farro and butternut squash, and fluke ceviche
- Elizabeth BursteinOctober 16, 2020So so so good . First cocktail (sangria like), squash, beef tenderloin phenomenal, fluke, bass ceviche, bok choy, potatoes. Incredible desserts - fig and cheese ice cream, cookie toppings. Wooowww
- EaterJuly 18, 2017Dishes like rock shrimp with rice, fluke tiradito, and beets with goat cheese are small, but packed with flavor.
- AmateurConciergeFebruary 27, 2016Wayyyy better than an 8.2. This is my favorite Daniel Humm establishment by far. Beef stir fry, quinoa, tiradito and the on-tap punch (Llama Del Rey) all crowd pleasers. Will be back
- Elvis RodricksMarch 24, 2017That place you noticed and said you'll come some day and when you do you wish you came earlier! Drinks were a treat and food with a lil' twist. Get the beef tenderloin plate and pork belly! BK's best!
- Robert GleybermanApril 11, 2016The Llama Del Ray is a dope house sangria! Can't go wrong with the ceviche and the duck sausage was amazing- but not a huge plate. Just order a bunch of plates to share and you'll be solid
- Bitches Who BrunchMarch 2, 2016The Bitches say: A. Llama Inn really delivered, showing us what an inventive Peruvian brunch tastes like. Everything we tried was memorable and full of flavor, and we left feeling very refreshed. Read more
- HolidayDecember 31, 2016Think you don't like quinoa? Then try the quinoa salad with buttermilk and bacon, it will change your mind and Rock your world! Cocktail, the matador swizzle pairs well with the cerviche.
- Beth KFebruary 15, 2016A taste of peru w cultural twists! Duck sausage, great combo of indian spices. Beef tenderloin lomo saltado just like what i remember in peru, but W scallion pancakes! Expensive, and def got upsold
- Ben K.January 30, 2016Excellent new Peruvian restaurant in the 'burg. Great cocktails, try the ceviche, and don't miss the lomo saltado!
- Emily WilsonJanuary 16, 2017I loved: smoking apples cocktail, fluke ceviche, pork belly anticucho, beef tenderloin stir fry. Service was not great, but the vibe is fun.
- AmateurConciergeDecember 17, 2017Came by for brunch. Good way to sample the best dinner dishes (steak with fries, quinoa) on the cheap. Rice pudding was excellent...like a dessert cereal
- Vivian RamirezSeptember 26, 2016Deliscious contemporary Peruvian inspired dishes. Definitely a fusion happening here. Not on the light sight of things. Rich flavors and sauces. Great ambiance and staff. Nice for dates.
- Nicole CloutierApril 15, 2016Great cocktail program by the talented Lynette Marrero, delicious Corvino tiradito, and interesting meat dishes like goat neck with potato, turnip, cilantro, chic ha de Jora and red quinoa.
- Mare LealJune 22, 2022Excellent spot in Williamsburg! Food (to share) and drink are delicious. Ceviche and Marisco rice are amazing! Pisco drink :)
- Rock RainesApril 28, 2019Tried all the skewers my first time: “Around the world cuchos” was a great way to get acquainted with this spot. Will try beef tenderloin stir fry at brunch next time
- Rachel CApril 22, 2023The beef heart skewers and octopus skewers are fantastic. The waiter suggested we order 5 plates for 2 people but 4 plates and dessert would have been fine. Everything was exquisite.
- Inna GSeptember 27, 2021Portions are small and on pricey side, but always delicious. The ceviche was great and so were the Pisco sour. They removed the kebabs from the menu, which was one of their signature dishes.
- Valentina MonteMay 31, 2016SO DELICIOUS. Ceviche melts in your mouth. Baby gem salad may be the best salad I've ever enjoyed. Pass on the quinoa.
- Marzy HartDecember 16, 2015Everything is delicious, if you don't eat pork, make sure you ask about it in every dish, though. I wish I was eating their quinoa right now.
- Bin YangMarch 22, 2016Order every anticucho to start, then share some larger plates. The quinoa has a lot of texture and goat neck is incredibly tender and moist. Service is a little overbearing; desserts just okay.
- Noah WeissSeptember 9, 2018Fabtastic, creative brunch with great vibe. Omelette breakfast fried rice with chicken sausage 😍
- Sam AmiriJuly 8, 2016Tasty skewers on the roof and at the bar. The whole chicken is a great deal too
- KonstantinMay 14, 2017Nice, cozy, great ambiance, delicious food, great Pisco Sour, good service. On the pic - octopus ceviche
- Leah SchmidtMay 9, 2017Beef tenderloin stir fry!! They came and added coconut rice to the stir fry when we finished the cakes and beef. amaaaazing
- Taylor WilliamsFebruary 26, 2018Portions are a little too small to share with a large group. Went with 7 people and shared plates were too small. Recommend going with a party of 2-3 to split plates
- J LMay 22, 2016The ceviche and tiradito are outstanding. Rather than just eat the fish drink the juice. It's the best part.
- Oz LublingJune 19, 2016Get the large expensive steak plate. It's amazing! Also the drinks are delicious and unique.
- Joshua NewmanJune 26, 2022The lomo saltado is possibly life-changing. Ask for an off-menu drink based on what you like; the bartenders will similarly not disappoint.
- Jineen CarcamoJuly 27, 2018Unique, flavourful dishes. Awesome cocktails. The merengue lime pie was delicious and you should 100% order it (twice!)
- DrewskiMarch 5, 2016Pisco Sour and Llama del Rey were great, as were the omelette and beef tenderloin stir fry. Wait seemed unnecessarily long.
- Scy DVFebruary 10, 2022Recommend the bok choy salad (so good), beets, and cachanga! Salmon ceviche was on the acidic side and the chocolate cake a little dry
- Best restaurant in the neighborhood right now. Long wait if you don't make a reservation. Anything on the menu is great. No Joke.
- Pisco sour is great! Try the quinoa salad and the skewers.
- Dmtiry RomantsovFebruary 12, 2016Favorite place for Peruvian food. Duck sausage with butternut squash is to die for and roast llama is delicious as well!
- SALJune 17, 2017Excellent for dinner, only okay for brunch. Unique decor, delicious cocktails. Try all 4 "anticucho" (skewers).
- Mark MunroFebruary 22, 2018Trendy Peruvian spot. I’d recommend the pork belly skewers, ceviche, and beef cheek. Cocktails were excellent.
