- Pam ☕️ OFebruary 4, 2017Sheds a new light on Mexican food. Tortillas liked abuelita makes served with a charred sweet potato and bone marrow salsa? Fantastic. Skip the utensils and scoop the goods with a tortilla.
- EaterNovember 13, 2015A seafood-focused spot have people flocking to the pretty space where they can munch on light fare like ceviches, trout tostada and mussels tamale while sipping on tons of mezcal and tequila.
- Sabina B.May 5, 2017Just like Hamilton, the hype lives up to it. Everything is perfect - food, service + ambiance. Reccos: trout tostada, sopes playeros, kampachi ceviche, & sweet potato w/ bone marrow salsa.

- Sarp ErkayaApril 29, 2016Seafood Mexican spot - communal table is a great spot to enjoy the tostadas and the creative cocktail list. Service is very good and friendly. Highly recommend it!!
- Heather RodriguezJanuary 25, 2020Expensive, but excellent food. I especially enjoyed the bone marrow and sweet potato dish. On point. Cocktails are too sweet and pre-mixed so you can’t ask them to kill the sweet.
- Absolutely must try the grilled fish here. The exact fish and style changes periodically but it will be at the bottom of the menu. Always, always unbelievably good!
- Bon Appetit MagazineJune 1, 2016Tables are hard to come by, but scoring a seat at the bar is do-able (especially if you’re solo), and brunch is a good bet. Read more
- Jenny UngMarch 26, 2016Super fresh seafood served in a modern Mexican way, what a lovely meal and experience. Halibut ceviche was so delicious, and must always order the tostadas!

- Kait GaissMay 12, 2016More so putting here for the Tacos Cala, which is their lunch window located in the alley behind the restaurant. But, restaurant looks pretty remarkable, and Gabriela Cámara is huge in Mexico City.
- BommyMarch 31, 2018Upscale mexican food by the well-known chef gabriela camara. Tasty food but way too expensive to go outside of a special event. Sweet potato with bone marrow is amazing though.
- Daniel PlemmonsOctober 14, 2017Fantastic food all around. Ask the bar to teach you about Mezcal. Get the trout tostadas.
- Ursula TudelaSeptember 7, 2018Loved it! Order the sopes with lingcod, frito mixto, and definitely the trout tostadas!
- Danielle DavisMarch 21, 2016Great cocktails - Mescal Marg and Boulevardier Blanco were amazing. Stick to the tapas over the entrees to share. Trout Tostadas for the win!
- David NoëlMay 26, 2017Trout tostadas, sweet potatoe, chocolate ice cream. Use the pickeled onions to spice things up.
- Andy WangMarch 25, 2016Great place to eat. Uni is off the hook. So is the ceviche. Place is a bit loud so be prepared
- Younger, more minimal version of Mexico City's Contramar with equally delicious seafood. Get the tostadas.
- SJanuary 21, 2017The chocolate dessert is not to be missed. All the food was amazing here. The sangria cocktail is coconut-y and great.
- Daniel RosalesNovember 20, 2016Nothing I tried was good. Sopes playeros and trout tostadas were tasteless. they dare to serve ceviche without tostadas or chips. Seriously ? It's like serving a taco with tortilla. Service was awful
- Pavan KulkarniJanuary 15, 2017Pretty expensive place with small portion appetizers. They tasted decent nothing exceptional for that price. Ambience is amazing though great for dates. The sweet potato with bone marrow salsa was 👌
- Jina AnneMarch 6, 2016DON’T get the oysters & mussels toast. Underwhelming. 👎🏼 DO get the sopes & trout tostadas. 👍🏼 Also, service was super slow for the price here. But the mezcal margaritas are 👌🏼
- SaliemJuly 2, 2019Pricey 😬. Go for the experience. The dishes are the price and quality of a tasting menu but a la carte. That said, the ceviche, black cod and mezcal was 😘

- Meaghan HJanuary 17, 2018I was really excited to try this place after it was featured on Check Please, Bay Area, but my friend and I were very disappointed in most of our dinner. I never send things back but we had to here
