- Troy FlintJuly 30, 2015The best pub food in town (actually far better than what that name suggests) and a great beer selection on tap. The chicken liver mousse is phenomenal and the cheeseburgers are excellent.
- BommySeptember 12, 2016Never that crowded or loud, it's a great spot to bring out-of-towners who like craft beer. No large plate vegetarian dishes but the hand cut kennebec fries are amazing. Super thick wedge fries!Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Hard to think of a spot with a better beer selection in SF. California heavy draft selection with hard to find brews from top brewers. Fried chicken sando is top notch.
- I usually come for the rotating beer selection but their menu is also worth a try, especially the octopus 🐙. Tentacles/asparagus/potatoes were the perfect texture (tender/crisp/soft).
- $13 weekday lunch special for a really great fried chicken sandwich (or burger) with fries. It's around the corner from my office and we are all restraining ourselves from going more than once a week.
- BommyMay 7, 2017Wish food could have more variety and be cheaper. But butter bean cassoulet is one of the few vegetarian options and is hearty and filling. The best fries are found here.
- Good beer selection and fun kitchen menu (ribs are nice and spicy) but you'll pay a bit more for the much better than usual food for a bar.
- Craft beer lovers needn't look any further - this is the best bar in the city for Northern California brews. Friendly bartenders and great pub food too!
- WhiskeyAvengerJune 16, 2018Great beer selection which makes for a great alternative to Zeitgeist if you want a more chill bar experience.
- Brian WilliamsApril 26, 2019Great lineup of food and beer, with something for everyone. Small place yes, but great atmosphere and worth a visit!
- Kerry SnyderOctober 24, 2015Beers that count to as many as I can count to when you're Moms in town. Swift, friendly barkeeps. Delightful bangers, no mash. Unsurprisingly unavoidable externalities—notably untraceable flatulence.
- Spencer HoltawayMay 25, 2016Extensive and varied beer list, great kitchen. Reminds me of the Pembury Tavern in East London.
- ClandestineDrinkerAugust 14, 2019I cannot recommend this unassuming, low key bar enough. Good prices, good food and a great beer selection makes this a winner in my book.
- cami j.July 28, 2015excited to have this place in the neighborhood! so many great beers on tap, and a laid-back, unpretentious vibe!
- New spot in the neighborhood. 36 beers on draft. Solid food options and tables in back for groups. Check it out!
- Taps on taps on taps. Constantly changing draft menu makes decision-making very difficult.
- Shelly ZordichDecember 17, 2015Fantastic beer (get the Mexican Hot Chocolate!) but the fries are DEFINITELY NOT shoestring. Tasty for just being wedges but mildly disappointing.
- Jonathan CrawfordNovember 25, 2016Great beer and fancy pub food selection. The salmon toast was great and big!
- P SmootJanuary 12, 2018Great tap list, one of the best if not the best in the city and awesome food.
- Pavan KulkarniMay 7, 2017Terrific beer list, loved their fish and chips and vegetable crudités with hummus
- Josh PylesNovember 25, 2015Great beer selection. A little more upscale than Zeitgeist across the street if that's your jam.
- Tim HainesAugust 7, 2015Excellent beer selection. Passable, but not great food. Better for bar snacks than full dinner.
