- Louis BasileOctober 3, 2016Great drinks, pastries, and lunch offerings. Many local roasters used for coffee. One of the few great coffee shops also serves liquor, allowing options like coffee + baileys, or a real Irish coffee.
- Love this place so much. Much more than just a cafe, their goddess wrap is by far the best light lunch I've had in Chicago. Hit that👐
- KaitlinMay 8, 2018Wonderful! Had a salad, a vegan brownie, and an iced espresso with oat milk. Probably my favorite thing is they had oat milk on the bar, sitting out with creamer! Very generous to us non-dairy folk!
- VDecember 1, 2017Great spot for brunch. Great lattes , matcha, avocado toast and desserts. They also sell sugarfina candy, which are pricey but so worth it.
- Lyubov MelnikovaNovember 12, 2017Cute and trendy place, always full but worthy visiting. Good for breakfast. Toasts with smashed Avocado are must, oat porrige seemed tasteless to me, the topping helped but I couldn't finish the rest.
- VDecember 1, 2017Great brunch spot, great lattes , matcha lattes and avocado toast. They also sell sugarfina candy which are so cute. Cute + busy vibe.
- Lauren BassJuly 15, 2017The açai bowl is really good, not too bitter, and the smoked salmon with bread is very good! Also recommend the liquid chocolate; all of them have been great!
- Ben NovakNovember 19, 2016Goddess and the Baker has a unique atmosphere that is inviting and urban. Definitely try the Liquid Chocolate Buzzed drink; you will not regret it. Fantastic place to meet for a light lunch or drinks
- Nate FolkertApril 16, 2019these little almond cupcakes are supposed to only be for people buying the fancy latte drinks, but if you ask nicely they’ll sell you a couple with your prole coffee.
- Great loop spot for breakfast/lunch. It can get pretty packed during lunch rush but if you wait out, it's all worth it. Space is very limited. Take a pic of their wall "EAT NOW CAFFEINATE".
- VJuly 23, 2019One of the best avocado roasts and matcha in Chicago. Service is ok ( depends on location )
- Emily JenkinsJanuary 21, 2019Such a nice place— good food (not too big portions but fine for price), accommodating and kind staff. Ok place to work if you don’t mind noise. Blueberry lemon muffin was one of the best things ever.
- Hannah MillerSeptember 17, 2016I had the avocado toast, which has a chili ricotta on top - definitely has a kick! Next time I think I'd order it on a different bread (didn't really like the sourdough it came on).
- Thomas BensonJanuary 21, 2019Really good food, and good portions for a cafe. Pastries were delicious. Service was fast, as was clearing, but didn't feel pressured to leave even when staying to work after.
- Yonca TokbaşAugust 27, 2019Love the ambiance and the taste! Best avocado toast.. I like it when something is not a “mcdonalds” kind of chain...
- Christopher FlossJune 5, 2015A fantastic addition to Chicago's loop. The soups are very fresh and the salad options are great. Haven't tried the pastries, but they look amazing!!!
- Ivette SánchezApril 26, 2017Goddess almond joy frappe is delicious and it's a cool spot with nice decor and good music.
- Raymond PeckMarch 2, 2019Regular coffee is quite good, the morning sandwich is a healthy and delicious breakfast for one. The tomatillo sauce's acidity really helps it not feel heavy.
- Sydney LimApril 24, 2016Their latte and avocado toast is quite possibly the best breakfast you can get around the area.
- TJ NorrisDecember 30, 2016Both tea and coffee are good. Nice place to work from if you don't need quiet
- MelvinSeptember 17, 2017Had a latte. It was lovely. Also sitting outside as the train passes above is a good treat.
- Jacquey KesslerMay 21, 2015Loving the morning sandwich! Coffee is great, not a fan of the macchiatos, milk to espresso was strange. Pastries look amazing!
- The Goddess and The Baker has a stunning assortment of goods that you would not suspect from a place that just looks like a coffee shop through the window.
- The service is not great; they’re typically unhelpful and struggle to do anything out of the norm. Everything looks better than it actually tastes, and is expensive, but again, looks great (on IG).
- Monica GazcaSeptember 27, 2018Santa Monica turkey sandwich, açai with berries, bagel with salmon, house coffee
- Colin LeeOctober 13, 2018Sunrise burrito and the iron omelette are solid breakfast dishes. Seats can be hard to find though
- Eleanor BlackmerAugust 24, 2015The Thai chicken flatbread is really delicious. And the vibe is really awesome. Lots of tasty things.
- Michelle StarkeyFebruary 19, 2016Amazing croissants, gorgeous marble tabletops and a wonderful staff.
- Staff PicksMarch 3, 2016S'mores are trending this week and there's more than one way to enjoy them! Skip the campfire and head straight to Godess and The Baker for a refreshing S'more Frappuccino.
- Courtney JillMay 24, 2015Cold brew on tap was great! Really nice atmosphere- perfect spot in Chicago to stop for coffee.
- Eddy TaoDecember 17, 2015Order something from their specialty menu, you won't be disappointed. Their sandwich is amazing btw
- It's just a little bit pricey but they have gluten free desserts and sandwiches :)
- Excellent cold brew and their Mexican coffee beverage is very tasty with a kick!
- Sarah FoleyMay 29, 2015The cutest little coffee shop/cafe! I'd frequent this place if I was a local.
- Rebecca StuchApril 13, 2017Good chai and the breakfast sandwich with avocafo was perfect on a rainy day.
- Joe MontesOctober 16, 2015A beautiful, cozy cafe with great food and freshly brewed tea. Try the green tea!
- The pastries and the sandwiches are awesome. The red velvet cupcake it's my favorite.
- Ruthie GNovember 11, 2019Good place to meet a friend for a coffee. Not a ton of seating during peak times.
- They have a couple gluten free sweets there and some vegan options as well.
- Fernando Robles CoulterOctober 20, 2018Love the sandwiches and the Tiramisu Cold Brew was splendid. Nice place.
- Katie KellerJanuary 20, 2017This place is GOOD. Enjoyed the granola, scones, coffee and almond croissant!
- Amy RobertsonAugust 31, 2015My yogurt parfait was mostly jam and so watery that the yogurt coagulated. I guess stick to baked goods.
- Honey wildflower latte is perfect, but very overpriced at over $5 with tax. Frustrating, even in the loop.
