- Ami K-MJanuary 29, 2016I had the miso ramen with pork belly and a side of karaage and Gyoza. The hubs had shio ramen with an egg. This place is amazing and flavorful broth seasoned just right. We can't wait to come back.
- AD NysDecember 28, 2015Come for the happy hour otsumami (popcorn, gyoza, fried tofu), stay for the Biwa cheeseburger (Sunday after 6).
- Jade CAugust 9, 2015The chasyu pork is more reminiscent of its Chinese cousin (char siu/叉燒) as it's sweeter & a little chewier, but still delicious when paired with the miso broth! The "special eggs" are good too.
- Leo TJune 29, 2018It’s not the best ramen in town, but it’s definitely the best that’s open late. They have some really good non-ramen options like their awesome karaage (best in town) and the burger. Great drinks too!
- Brook ShelleyMarch 26, 2015One of the best new additions to the food scene. The shoyu ramen is silly good, and the karaage is the best in the city
- Andrew CMarch 29, 2016Build your own Ramen, essentially. It'll be ~$13-14+ per bowl after adding an egg and pork belly. Long waits. Small space.
- Al SJanuary 19, 2017Shio ramen and karaage chicken is a killer combo on a chilly, rainy day. They also have a solid beer list for a small noodle house.
- Roger 💾November 7, 2016Consistently delicious ramen, possibly the best in an increasingly crowded ramen town; open late. A very reliable favorite!
- This place feels like so many of the ramen shops I visited in Japan, right down to the location. And the karaage is incredible!
- Jenny MundyApril 27, 2015Veggie ramen is vegan friendly and tasty. Get a side of veggie friendly kimchi to up the vegetable content of your meal
- Best ramen in Portland. Helpful staff. $10 lunch deal, includes salad. Craft beer. Full bar.
- MLOApril 15, 2015Double down on the special egg and order an 80's salad to balance the salt of the ramen dishes.
- Selena LiaoJune 12, 2015Great service. Missing pork belly was swiftly corrected and with extra other meat as well.
- Thirsty? Get Rob's delicious concoction the Chino. 🍍💥 Delicious.
- Vincent TangOctober 5, 2015Neat tea selection. The ramen is delicious, but make sure you get the karaage!
- The karaage (fried chicken) is goooood. So is the ramen. And sake. It’s all good.
- VickiFebruary 21, 2016Ramen seems cheap at $9 but it doesn't come with egg and meat. Have to add it on. So its more $13 for a bowl of ramen!
- Todd WolfsonSeptember 18, 2016Curry ramen isn't authentic; closer to Indian yellow curry than Japanese curry
- Paul LewandowskiOctober 21, 2016The ramen (Shoyu) was ok. I was a little bummed that any protein you wanted came at an additional price. 😐
- at the moment you're better off making instant ramen at home
