- Dëva HolikOctober 20, 2014Amazing dumplings there is a reason they have a Michelin star. What's even more supervising is their prices very reasonable especially for OC. You really can't go wrong with any choice - even veganUpvoted Apr 11
- Martin D. CiaoAugust 24, 2014DTF in different regions have different variation in menu. Truffles XLB and stir-fried kale is the gem in South Coast. However, Pork XLB, Fried Rice, and Chicken Soup are the must-get items in all DTF
- Josh WOctober 29, 2018See if you can get on the waitlist via Yelp. If not, brace yourself for a 1hr+ wait. Once seated, get the XLB, pork chop, shrimp fried rice, hot and sour soup, potstickers, and beef noodle soup
- Shrimp & Pork Wontons with Spicy Sauce! Spicy Sauce goes with everything. Also get the Pork & Crab XiaoLongBao, Sauteed String Beans with Garlic, and Noodles with Minced Pork Sauce.
- Tiffany L.August 28, 2014Way better than the location in Arcadia. Go on weekdays. Wait time is about 1 hr max for weekday lunch!
- Martin D. CiaoAugust 20, 2014Grand opening was August 18, 2014. Don't forget there is a line to get in the line! Average wait time should be around two hours total at meal time rush hour. Special item: Truffle and Pork Dumpling!
- SAugust 5, 2015There is no big options for us since we don't eat pork but the shrimps fried rice, spicy noodles and chicken dumplings were good, service was quick although the place was crazy busy.
- French Black Truffle and Pork XLB is truly decadent and a nice variation to their rich Pork XLB!
- Roger MaOctober 28, 2016If you plan on shopping around, put your name down and they'll text you when the table is ready. It can be quite a bit of a wait so get your retail therapy on beforehand.
- Kenny KhuuJuly 18, 2018Crab and pork soup dumplings were good not great...same critiques as the pork ones. Good burst of crab flavor to the soup and filling. 3.5/5
- Jason H.September 1, 2019Excellent bok choy and cucumbers and pork soup dumplings. Regular chicken dumplings were lacking as was the shu mai. Line is crazy long - check in on yelp!
- Come for dinner. Wait after putting your name and phone number down is about 1.5hrs+ So to make it easier, go 2 hrs before the mall closes and shop till then and eat on your way out after shopping.
- Bao LyFebruary 24, 2015Shrimp and pork wontons with spicy sauce. The waiter told me they sell the sauce ala cart for $6. That is how good the sauce is.
- Put your name on the list, then go shopping. They'll text you when your table is ready! Pro tip: check out the combo faucet and hand dryer in the bathrooms.
- Rick TangSeptember 3, 2014Shrimp and pork wontons in spicy sauce, get it... you won't be disappointed. Check out Claim Jumpers for their happy hour while you wait
- Eatosaurus RexFebruary 4, 2015Din Tai Fung still has the best xiaolongbao in the world. If you say otherwise you're either stupid or a liar or both.
- Edward ForteAugust 18, 2015Nice atmosphere, can see them make the dumplings, have to try the soup dumplings
- Kenny KhuuJuly 18, 2018Pork soup dumplings were good, but not great; lost its excellence/wow factor over the years. The skin was a bit tough, not much of the tasty soup, and the filling was good. 3.5/5
- Pam LinAugust 21, 2014Sit at the bar if you're solo or two. It's first come first served. No wait at 9:15p for 2 at the bar on a Wed
- Kenny KhuuJuly 18, 2018Spicy wontons weren’t very spicy and very garlicky instead. Wontons themselves were decent. Everything here is overpriced, so value plays a big factor. 2.5/5
- Pork Xiao Lung Bao. It's the best thing on the menu and worth every minute you spend waiting for a table. Order plenty cuz it goes quick.
- Kaz K.June 16, 2015Xiao long bao, spicy won ton, and shredded pork and pickle noodle soup are my favorite dishes here.
- Kenny KhuuJuly 18, 2018$13 for 2 scoops of basic fried rice and a pork chop. Besides the ludicrous price, fried rice was just fried rice and the slightly breaded pork chop was nothing special. Zero value here. 1/5
- Mary AndersonFebruary 19, 2018Xiao long bao, steamed dumplings, chicken pot stickers, won ton in spicy sauce
- Chris SOctober 8, 2017XLB were good but not amazing. Shrimp+pork dumplings were incredible. Great food but not worth a 2+ hour wait. Go to your favorite local spot instead. Better XLBs to be had elsewhere without the wait.
- jenny liangDecember 8, 2015Wait in the bar line if you're alone. Much faster. The pork Xiao Long Bao is my fav
- Siew Khuen KhawJanuary 18, 2015Get here early to reserve a table before head for shopping.usually wait time is 2 hours.
- Tinah ChenJanuary 18, 2016Portions are so small here, other than that it's pretty good. However, the wait time was WAY too long ended up waiting 1 hr 45 min and they didn't even text us. Only got seated when we asked for time.
- Catherine TorelliMay 10, 2015Soup dumplings are awesome, spicy sauce is perfect. Much closer than Arcadia or Glendale
- Minh LeAugust 3, 2018Complete muppet hostesses. No order at all and can’t seat a single party correctly to save their lives
- TrishSeptember 6, 2014seats 175 people. get on line by 9:30AM to be seated immediately at 10AM upon opening.
- You normally wouldn't think kale is Chinese, but it's really good here!
- Benjamin FongJune 12, 2015Pricey dumplings. But classic food. Reminds me of home. #vancouver #homesick
- Mark ToledoJuly 9, 2015Xiao long bao... You could get the other stuff, but if you came here, there's not a lot of point to ordering anything else.
- Chris GoFebruary 3, 2016It is possible to walk in and be seated. We did on a Friday afternoon at least.
- They take waiting list names until closing and stay open until everyone is served!
- juicy pork dumplings and pork chop fried rice bowl...'nuff said...
- 22 minute wait for bar seating on a Wednesday at 8pm! Not bad at all! :)
