Chef/co-owner Al Paris isn't French, but his restaurant is - a classic bistro with a lively, convivial bar that's almost always full. Great live jazz in the basement grotto (thanks, Bynum brothers!).

I love the Jazz club here! Small, intimate setting with fantastic food, and amazing performances. The food is some of the best French cuisine I've had in the area, and I highly recommend it.

Excellent oysters, bouillabaisse, salmon tartare, and scallops. For dessert: the profiteroles, but not, surprisingly, the crepes. The rosemary Old Fashioned was good, but a bit sweet.

Try the Escargot and Steak Frites Maison you will not be disappointed. Excellent as always.
