- CITY GRITAugust 1, 2014A cozy coffee shop with a full espresso bar and hand poured coffee. What else could you want in a coffee spot? It's a great jumping off point for the morning or a stopping point for a midday rest.
- Danielle BoudreauFebruary 28, 2015Pour over coffee is great, the staff and regulars are friendly, and the lighting is good for doing work. The decor is minimal and tasteful, bringing to mind trendy Scandinavian cafes. A great spot!
- Raj SarmaJuly 8, 2015The mocha here is easily one of the best I've had and the secret is the house made chocolate sauce. The coffee selections are excellent, but try the mocha, you won't be disappointed.
- John RyanJune 10, 2016Tasty coffee/sandwiches, nice atmosphere, good place to sit with a laptop and work for a few hours.
- Rachel MyhillFebruary 1, 2016Grab a latte + croissant and snag a seat at the window. Lovely staff, plenty of plugs, serene and green decor. Bravo, Menagerie!
- CatherineMarch 29, 2015Mocha was a little too sweet for me, but still loved this decent and spacious cafe. An ideal shop for coffee and writing papers/studying.
- Victoria U.January 18, 2015The almond latte was excellent but their neon espresso is hit or miss. The Neon was very acidic. If you hate soy milk and are lactose intolerant- they have almond milk!
- Possibly the best latte I've had in the city (quad with a splash of maple syrup), and I've had a lot! Hummus sandwich was great too!
- Amanda ParkerJune 8, 2015Really good cold brew and really good lattes. Also has interesting and earthy decor. Great place to do work if you can get a seat.
- Stacy Bo BacySeptember 7, 2023Very tasty coffee. Wifi password is stayhydrated for ‘Menagerie Coffee Guest.’
- My favorite coffee spot in Old City! Very smooth espresso- love their Neon beans. Great spot to study or do work ☕️❤️
- Emilie FuttermanApril 17, 2015Great to sit and do some work, not too crowded and the coffee is delicious. They have wifi.
- JH H-DJanuary 14, 2020Delightful coffee. Lots of communal tables in the back, don’t be afraid to share!
- Steve CizzleSeptember 29, 2014Excellent cold brew and super friendly staff. Also, really cool, relaxing, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Marie La RueNovember 23, 2018The honey tumeric cortado was absolutely delicious. Granola and Turkey sandwich were also quite tasty.
- Chris PolloneMay 16, 2015Love this spot. Airy, sunny... A great place to hang out or work. I enjoyed the cold brew.
- Philly.comOctober 11, 2013They've sourced excellent beans not yet commonly brewed locally, including a peppery, lemony Neon espresso from Minnesota's Dogwood. Read more
- Lauren MacMarch 23, 2017Great atmosphere on a quiet street. Love the exposed brick and vibes at this place.
- Andréa CecilSeptember 26, 2016They make a smooth-ass latté. If I lived in Philly, I'd go there all the time.
- Rachel ShifmanApril 25, 2016The pour over coffee is perfectly brewed and reasonably priced. Good pastries too!
- Love the pour over, but turns it their drip coffee is wonderful too
- The oat milk matcha latte is excellent, whether ordered hot or iced.
- If you want quality and nuance in Old City, this is your place for coffee.
- Kanishka WijesekaraDecember 18, 2014Love the eggnog coffee! It's seasonal but it should be a regular.
- In from the rain having a latte and favorite pastry.
- Nigel RichardsSeptember 9, 2013Enjoy the tree stump coffee tables and bowling alley seats in the window.
- Cory SteeleyJanuary 4, 2015Nice small shop where you can get an americano without going to Starbucks
