Lamb biscuits, tuna tartare, and brussels sprouts "bravas" were amazing. Doughnuts for dessert come with your choice of SO many toppings - get the halva caramel and you won't regret it.

The Oleana empire has expanded to Somerville's Winter Hill in the form of Sarma, which is inspired by Turkish meyhane — restaurants serving meze, or small, shareable plates that highlight the seasons.

Great food for sharing plates with friends. Also good Gluten Free options. I have Celiac Disease and I was provided a Gluten Free menu. I got the Potato Falafel and Steak Tartare

Kibbeh here incorporates red lentils and crab, for wonderfully light patties topped with a green papaya salad and a green Israeli hot sauce called zhoug. And try the dim sum-style passed dishes.

Incredible and innovative wine menu. You can walk in and sit at the bar but it fills up pretty quickly. Get anything on the dim sum style mezze plates.

The burger sits on top of a seriously delicious brioche bun. It's a build-your-own situation, so you add toppings as you go, like a fried egg for a bit extra. Read more

Try Circassian Quail, BBQ Duck, Beef Shish & Kofte Sliders. Add Parsnip Fritters & Za'tar bread, and Sumac Lemonade for drink. Dessert? Go for Loukamades with Pineapple Baklava or Muhayabiyah topping.

Get the fried chicken special, crab kibbeh with lentil, 7 layer humus, lahm bajeen, moroccan fried shrimp, pumpkin fritters! Portion wise, they're small plates (tapas) so order approx 3 per person

Being here is sort of like being in a middle eastern bazar. Although it's dimly lit the ambience is totally buzzing. Try the yummy day's special that the staff brings out in between courses.!

The menu apparently changes frequently but absolutely everything I had was top notch: Scallops w/ flax brittle, the Brussels sprouts, crab/lentils, lamb crepe, corn/taramasalata were all on fire!

I loved everything we had! The small plates are the perfect way to try all if the layers of flavor Sarma has to offer. The sesame fried chicken made my eyes water with delight. The pork belly... Uhhhh

Good restaurant for people with high expectations! — pea falafel, crab & red lentil kibbeh, loukamades (with apricot granita) and lamb kebab (nice mix of veggies & sauce, we expected a tender kebab).

Amazing fusion of American, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern cuisines. Yet there's a grave menu mistake, Raki isn't an "after dinner spirit", it's meze's best friend and served with meal.
