Lardo and Grassa share the same kitchen, but they really share nothing else in common. Best pasta dishes you could ask for, well-priced cocktails and a collection of record albums to die for.

Please do yourself a favor and start with the Porkbelly Mac n' Cheese everything is excellent but you need to try possibly the best version of this classic.

Changes the nature of pasta in Portland. Like a small, family Florentine restaurant, but in an updated Portland space. Tried three pastas and three apps - all were spectacular!

BommyAugust 9, 2017Cacio e pepe is oily, salty, and one-note in flavor. At least the dish looks pretty... Spaghetti 'aglio olio' is extremely garlicky and reminds one of leftover ramen.
Please bring back the cavatelli with crispy chicken skin. Also, add on some meatballs and garlic bread.
