- Ben TepferOctober 9, 2014Some of the best iced coffee I've ever had. Get it with macadamia milk and get it for "here"—it's served in a mason jar.
- Andrew HogueJune 11, 2014Fresh almond-macadamia milk, made in-house, shaken over ice with espresso, strained into a chilled Mason jar with ice from a Kold-Draft ice maker, an expensive machine you find in cocktail bars. Read more
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍July 13, 2019Awesome to perk up before exploring Grand Central Market or DTLA. Came for their Almond macadamia latte "The Best Iced Latte in America" as per an NY Times article and it was phenomenalUpvoted Mar 28
- H. Colbert (@hrsch)September 6, 2014Probably the most innovative, yet still respectful to/for purists, coffee place in LA. Walk up to the bar, order from anyone, and enjoy your drink standing up, soaking in the vibe.
- AmateurConciergeAugust 7, 2016Best iced latte in America? Yes says NY Times! Not sure about that but a great coffee stand. Grab one and wait in line for Eggslut or eat at one of 10 other great spots in the Grand Central food hall
- Business & pleasure definitely something you want to go for. Tip (not in menu) - you can ask for pleasure only, dropping on shot of espresso and hoppy tea.
- K JMay 31, 2015Excellent Cold Brew! It's more on the lighter side (it's not too bitter) but it's really just down right good,so before you try it with sugar or milk, do try it on its own. Service was great too.
- In theory one must never mix business and pleasure. In practice, the Business and Pleasure is one of the most delightful coffee experiences you'll ever have. Order one and ponder life's mysteries.
- JasonJanuary 30, 2017One of the great, but less noted, things about G&B is that you can grab a seat anywhere and order. No need to wait in line!
- Matt DermodySeptember 29, 2016Long marble rectangular coffee bar in the open air Grand Central Market. Perfect in the evenings as the weather cools down. Espresso Dark & Stormy hit the spot.
- Kimberly QJuly 24, 2015Coffee is amazing and their baristas are super friendly! Definitely a great place to get your caffeine fix!
- KEAugust 14, 2017Get the iced latte or cold brew and a cinnamon roll. Good music and no wait if you go around 9am. Seating area is nice, bright, lots of space.
- PeggySeptember 4, 2022Get the Business & Pleasure, which is a trio of the iced almond macadamia milk latte, espresso shot, and fizzy hoppy tea
- Todd Zaki WarfelDecember 26, 2015Perfect flat white. Try the yeast waffle with ricotta and house made berry jam—amazing.
- Irina LeonidovnaOctober 1, 2017Great spot at the entrance to the market. Nice coffee , friendly staff, and creative coffee coctails
- Get the Business & Pleasure. Or a slice of pie. Or (SECRET MENU) a large fizzy hoppy tea with a shot of turmeric.
- The milkshake. You have to try the milkshake. Made with a ton of tasty vanilla ice cream and 4 shots of espresso, it's pretty incredible.
- Leslie MacchiarellaAugust 6, 2015They won't make fun of you if you're not a coffee expert so ask the barrista to make a recommendation and they will be thoughtful and courteous. Their coffees are awesome!
- G&B Shake is made with espresso and thick Sweet Cream ice cream from Straus Family and perfect for after lunch.
- Pro-tip: sample the filter coffees to make sure you get a proper cup. They get so busy that they just might misjudge their doses and you'll end up with watered down brew
- Mark SturnMay 14, 2015Previously had the Latte, awesome. This time tried an Iced Sweet Latte, even better. The espresso roast they use is 2nd to none.
- Ameen AqeelDecember 26, 2015Tried the business & please (sample of tea, espresso and cold latte) and wasn't impressed by any of them. Staff are awesome though.
- Honestly, they serve the best coffee in the greater Los Angeles area. And I’ve been to a LOT of coffee shops
- SuperbOctober 24, 2013Charles Babinski took home the second place prize in the Best Barista Championship overall, making him the second best barista in all of America.
- Everything is great, but the service is some of the best I’ve experienced in the WHOLE WORLD.
- best coffee in DTLA. make the time to talk to the baristas about almond milk - they make it in-house!
- Diana MontanteJuly 27, 2014The G&B Shake is amazing - grab one before you walk around looking for your meal. You won't regret it!

- Leo Z.December 29, 2013Best coffee in California! Its fresh taste stays in your mouth for at least for an hour after drinking!
- Roger MaSeptember 13, 2016Decent coffee though I asked for a pour over and all they did was pour me a batch brew...
- Tammie HawkinsMarch 7, 2016Not only does Tammie Hawkins know how to throw a great party, but she also knows how to run a business.
- The new macadamia milk is delicious! Never was a big fan of their homemade almond milk.
- Sandra ChenJune 1, 2013Great vibe! Not a sit down place, don't bring your laptop. Awesome people, good coffee.
- Jordan FoxJuly 25, 2015Good location. Nice staff. In my opinion, the coffee 🍵 and macchiato were very acidic, sour tasting, and pricey.
- Denise "Niecee" GarcianoDecember 3, 2013If you love espresso & milkshakes you should consider getting the G&B shake
