- EaterOctober 30, 2013Chef Michael Cimarusti is serving up tried and true sea-centric constructions made with top quality ingredients and only the best sea animals, plus a burger topped with Hook's four-year-aged cheddar.
- CansuApril 21, 2018We had chef’s oyster tasting and catch of the day (monkfish & sea bass) - all extremely delicious! Great service as well, Whit was the best waiter we had during our whole CA road trip! 👍🏻💯
- Connie ChiuOctober 2, 2016Highlights: unit toast, lobster roll (that buttery buttery bread), and angel on horses. Try the angel dish, it's so surprisingly and uniquely delicious. Love the open air seating.
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantNovember 16, 2014Really fun place. Oysters are great and Alaskan halibut is delicious. Blondie for dessert is recommended - esp good if you top it off with an espresso making it a blonde affogato
- Skywriter11December 8, 2018Excellent food and service! The craft cocktails amazing too! everything I had was divine, from crab cake, lobster roll to coleslaw and fries, the best, the pickles! You have to have the pickles!
- JenniferFebruary 23, 2016Ask to sit on the patio. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked, the service is lovely, and the stuffed clams are a rare treat on the West Coast. And Connie & Ted's is surprisingly kid-friendly.
- Marleine PacilioJuly 14, 2015Hot. Lobster. Roll. End of discussion. It really is ridiculously good, even for an east coaster who's used to Maine lobster. The Indian Pudding is uniquely delicious too. Great service. A+
- I recommend the warm lobster roll with drawn butter. Also the fries are yummy. Their oysters may be the best in town! Slurp
- Why not try both the warm and cold lobster rolls? Then cut them in half and compare and contrast. I did with my friend Tami and the warm lobster roll won by a slight margin in our test. your result?
- SaraOctober 12, 2013Great people-watching and celeb-sighting spot, at least while it's still shiny and new. Chef's choice oysters, New England boiled dinner, a glass of red Zinfandel, and you'll be in seafood heaven.
- loved josephine's clam cakes & the asparagus au gratin (the sauce is amazing) the portion is bit small. The shellfish marinara is great too (all mussels portion). overall good seafood for la la land.
- Jennifer MaasMarch 22, 2015The lobster roll, warm with butter, is the best I've had on the West Coast. The Blondie for dessert. Oysters always. Clam chowder perfect.
- Adrian PhillipsJanuary 13, 2015It's a bit of a scene but the place is huge and the food is great if not a little expensive. The fish and chips were fantastic and the scallops I tried were some of the best I've had in a while.
- Justin SatzmanOctober 2, 2014The food was great. I had the halibut that was herb crusted, potato salad & spinach. Also for an app, we had the calamari and bread. Other people had the fish and chips and the salmon.
- Picking your own lobster is something you don't see much on the west coast and reminded me of summers back home. Everything is really good. Highly recommend the New England boiled dinner. And Chowda!
- Brian MenendezJune 24, 2015Simply the BEST Lobster Roll I've had in LA, which Chef Michael Cimarusti's restaurant concept is based off his maternal grandparents and the love they shared for each other and the sea. #LobsterRoll
- Los AngelesAugust 22, 2013The lobster roll at Connie & Teds, Michael Cimarusti’s recently-opened haute fish shack, is worth every calorie. Sweet misshapen belly-on clams, fried in a light cornflour batter, are another must.
- Everything is absolutely amazing! You can't go wrong. Seriously. If you're going to get the lobster roll, I recommend getting the hot vs cold.
- I've been twice in the same week (because it's that good). Order Ed's Portugese Stew. There's also a burger topped with Hook's four-year-aged cheddar for the land lover in your group.
- Lauren-Michelle KraftOctober 31, 2015The butter rolls - awesome, the clams & mussels in the white wine sauce - awesome, the people you'll meet sitting at the bar - extra awesome! But...it is a tad pricey
- Ricky SherrillJune 15, 2016First go for brunch on the weekends for one of the best in LA. They have nice lobster rolls & other sandwiches. Check the specials before you order.
- Sam PlotkinAugust 11, 2013Beauty of this place: you cannot go wrong. Oysters, Lobster Roll, Fish & Chips, Peach Pie...one better than the next. 'Blue Fish' was a bit fishy - my only half-critique of the bunch.
- Shana WallJuly 7, 2013New England clam chowder & Grilled calamari appetizer Amazing, don't recommend Boiled Dinner. Better in concept than execution. MUST order Hot Buttered Rolls👍 (lobster roll at next table looked yum!)
- John CohenJuly 31, 2013First coarse Oysters, served chilled and delicious. Second Course. Lobster Roll Hot with Fry's Third Dish. Seafood Pot mixture of Steamers. Mussels, Lobster, Potatoes. Desert: Indian Pudding.
- Kelsie PelletierOctober 13, 2014Can't go wrong with the raw bar - especially the live uni (coming from someone who's not even into uni). Splurge on the steak and lobster. Worth it, promise.
- Roxanne SaeiMarch 19, 2015Scallop to start with the Hot Butter Rolls to dip and Ed's Portuguese Stew for your main dish...or share because everything is pretty damn good here.
- Erik J.August 31, 2013My favorite oysters so far are: Kusshi, Kiwi Cup, Naked Cowboy and the Little Island. The clam chowder is not as thick as you may be use to, but more tasty.
- Robert GamboaOctober 3, 2013Service was great. Atmosphere was wonderful. The food was just delicious delicious delicious! Really yummy!
- Karen EyresDecember 12, 2013Loved it. Had the steamers and will have them again. C&T's has an open kitchen, so we could see Michael Cimarusti in there, checking on things. Pretty cool.

- Maina KhojaJuly 3, 2015I tried their mussels with Marinara sauce dam fresh, I recommend going with company to share and try
- Chris LedermullerJuly 29, 2015Fantastic beer selection. Also, Rhode Island clear clam chowder has a pleasant, briny seawater taste, like a less intense oyster.
- TulaniSeptember 7, 2014Oyster and seafood players are super fresh. Nice selection of cocktails, craft beers and wines. Tough reservation and very popular!
- Delicious lobster roll, great happy hour. Love the ambiance feels like you are on the beach in the middle of WeHo.
- Tasting TableAugust 5, 2014Follow the chef's choice, an omakase of a dozen ($34) or half-dozen ($17) of oysters served with tarragon-inflected mignonette and horseradish. Read more
- Naked Cowboy oysters are delicious and give Water Grill a run for their money. Sit outside on the patio - its a nicely designed space.
- Ayanna JFebruary 7, 2014The lobster rolls are amazing. They went a little heavy on the salt for the fries. All in all, it was good.
- Christina BrehmSeptember 10, 2013Best calamari I've ever had in my life-- get it grilled! Laid-back vibe with a friendly staff. Worth the wait!

- Alex StrausAugust 11, 2014The tequila Ocho is amazing here. Also! They have ancho reyes! Spicy margaritas and seafood. All. Day.
- Sydney ChandlerNovember 19, 2017Some of the Best Seafood I've tasted in this city and surrounding areas. Fresh and tasty.
