- Chris ShanahanApril 4, 2016Quality brewery style pub that had an impressive and extensive list of draft and bottled beers. Perfect for a Friday starter before heading out. Cool little basement area and second bar downstairs!
- Alex GibsonSeptember 21, 2017Great food and selection of beers. Had the three meat sliders, bucket of prawns and oysters to share but the crab fries is the real highlight.Upvoted Mar 14
- Cole KennedyApril 24, 2018I’d spend so much time at this bar if I lived here. Not because it’s outstanding or anything, but because it’s spacious and comfortable and there’s a long beer list and the curry fries make me happy.
- Iva Las VegasApril 11, 2016Beautiful vintage interiors with an eased up vibe. Nice garden at the back and a hidden cocktail place at the lower level. Enjoy! : )
- Emmanuel XOctober 7, 2021One of my favourite pubs in London. Good vibes, excellent food, nice little urban garden, beautifully kept and clean. Really can't fault the place.
- The sliders, hot wings and chilli cheese fries. But they decided to get rid of these in favour of some hypocritical vegan/seafood menu but still selling beef with their Sunday roast.Absolute nonsense.
- Richard WigginsOctober 25, 2014It's get really busy and noisy in the bar, but head downstairs to the cocktail bar for more space and a table. Oysters are lovely, as are the sliders. They sound odd but would recommend the crab fries
- If you want a seat on a busy Friday or Saturday, head for the side of the bar against the wall. That's a pro-tip right there!
- John HutsonAugust 16, 20133 Sliders (£7.50) and a Diet Coke was £10 all in. Great quality food and filling so a good option for lunch on a Friday or something. Recommended!
- Lovely old pub bar with small garden. Great bar snacks - get the oysters.

- Gerry WaldronFebruary 6, 2019Lovely pint of “wild beer”. Apparently you can ask for a tasting sample so do that to try before you buy.
- Paul LambieJune 28, 2019I love this bar. It's got style and doesn't crow about it. Friendly kind staff. Tasty snacks.
- Quick! Get in and enjoy one of the many rotating craft beers served by the friendly staff at this pub before the city boys ruin it for everyone!
- Our favourite sliders are the chicken, the pork belly and the chill cheese dog. Heads up, they tend to be on the spicy side.
- hello_emilyFebruary 10, 2015Lovely seafood platter & great beer selection. Mmmm IPAs.... Friendly staff too & fab interior 🍻😍🐚
- Sam MMay 8, 2014Fantastic beer selection though usually very busy and loud on account of the vinyl spinning towards the back of the bar. Good outdoor area.
- Matt KennyDecember 7, 2018Beer is good, but the menu has shrunk a lot compared to what is online. The only non-seafood items now are fries, and fries and gravy 🙄
- John GibbardDecember 17, 2019Stylish decor and quiet lunchtime atmosphere. Reasonable choice of gin.
- Ruth WatsonMarch 27, 2015The curry sauce is to die for! I could just drink it straight! Sliders are also yummy!
- Michaela WatkinsonMay 24, 2015Cool beers and staff. The beer garden is small but a sun trap ☀️ would visit again.
- My favourite pub in Shoredith. Good vibes, nice crowd. And La Chouffe.
- It was busy and an arguing couple stood literally half a metre next to us. It was awkward but the beer was good.
- Giovanni DobbianiNovember 25, 2013Good selection of beers, dark atmosphere, oysters, backyard garden !!
- James AllenNovember 1, 2015Serves the world's best beer Dirty Stop Out on tap. Almost unheard of outside Wales.
- The beers can change on a daily basis so drink it all while you can!
- Sliders are really good. Winner has to be the ginger beer chicken one.
- Jake DylanApril 14, 2017It was okay. We went for a Sunday brunch, but there's no "breakfast" option - just sliders and roast. The beers were sort of expensive (~£6 pint)
- The wings are great. Better than great. They are EPIC!
- Nice terrace to enjoy beers and their summer gin-tonics. Btw, food was disappointing...
- If you hear 22 grand job playing by The Rakes then it normally means I'm in.
