- Serious EatsJanuary 14, 2014The bright dining room is a friendly spot for a solo sandwich dinner or a group sit-down affair. Just be sure to grab one of their giant chocolate chip cookies for dessert before you go!
- EaterJanuary 7, 2014From the cured meats to the grits reminiscent of risotto, the attention to detail elevates their offerings. Carefully curated wine at grocery prices makes for an affordable night. [Eater 38 Member]
- Austin ChronicleApril 18, 2013Pair the house-made merguez with a seasonal salad, and go ahead and order a bottle of wine; it beats getting back in line for another glass, and the ambience is so nice you're going to want to linger. Read more
- Chandler LewisJanuary 25, 2013Mussels are enormous and the sauce with the ham is divine. Make sure to order dessert while you are there-shortbread is awesome and the salted choc chip cookie is a must! Obsessed.
- RaniaApril 8, 2023Cute & quality bistro for lunch or breakfast. Farm wedge is relatively light & so good. Ample parking but can get full during peak hours.
- Josh AAugust 21, 2015Yummy little French cafe. Good bottled beer and cheese selections. Tasty food. Service was a little slow. Despite other tippers, the chocolate cookie is not that amazing (see: Steeping Room)
- Brook ShelleyAugust 7, 2014Wine and cheese are a great way to start off, and the mussels are a great way to finish. Sip wine outside in the cooler months, and enjoy their coffee too
- IrinaAugust 16, 2014Cured salmon sandwich is the best -- you can't go wrong with that one. Green Fried Tomatoes are overhyped. The place is a hipster joint, but it does have a pleasant ambiance.
- Policarpo al FrescoAugust 10, 2023The amazing quality of the food at this place stands out. Make sure to explore their beers menu. Highly recommended for a great dining experience.
- Christina LiptonJuly 7, 2013Brunch Tip 1: order English muffin w/o butter. Tip 2: order extra muffin with cured salmon. Beignets amazing! Eggs Benedict amazing! Will definitely be back!
- Erika PerziJuly 21, 2013Cute ambiance. Love the impressive cheese counter, provisions and wine selection. Summer squash soup was delicious, salted chocolate chip cookie a must.
- Katie BrownMarch 17, 2019Good upscale casual dinner options, lots of European wine by the bottle choices. Can get loud when full.
- Nicole McAfeeFebruary 8, 2015I'd come back for the beignets, but probably skip the croque madame. It was cold, and it had too much bread and not enough flavor. Also, as a heads up, the mimosas are minuscule!
- VoniaMay 6, 2014Definitely get some beignets. Great please for artisan cheeses. Creative dishes & delicious.
- Bring back the mustard mussels, pleeeeeeease! Best mussels I've ever had. The saffron Pernod mussels aren't cutting it.
- Best Benedict ever! And I am not a Benedict fan, but I will be back again for this dish!
- India ChristineAugust 10, 2014The smoked boudin was amazing and the portion was large. I will definitely order again.
- Sam CSeptember 2, 2013Delicious sweets, cute location, friendly staff, next time I will try the entrees!

- Most things on the menu are outstanding, but the Eggs Benedict is decidedly subpar.
- Maggie C PerkinsMay 22, 2015Disappointing. Staff couldn't be bothered after taking order. Asked for my cold coffee to be warmed, expecting it to be topped off--was microwaved, returned near empty, "we don't do free refills".
- Christina CastanonAugust 3, 2013This place was just ok. Portions are small so dont bring a large appetite, staff was unfriendly. I recommend skipping this place.
