This is the FIRST place to eat once you land in New Orleans. Oysters, authentic food, amazing cocktails (happy hour + pro move), Brian the bartender and Courtney the hostess will hook you up!
Go for happy hour! 3pm-6pm. Half price cocktails and 50 cent oysters. They were great for a bachelorette party and offered us free champagne and dessert! Strong cocktails.
House amber ale is excellent. Staff is beyond friendly. Took a little long for the main course, but a surprise drink on the house made up for it. They let my 2 year old run around, so bonus points.
This Southern breakfast was the best Southern breakfast I’ve had outside of my home. The grits were phenomenal and the bacon & sausage were perfect. The biscuit was buttery & airy. Great service too!
Absolutely phenomenal overall experience! We came for a bachelorette party and our waiter Matt went above and beyond to make brunch extra special for us. Shrimp & grits, burger and drinks were delish!
My favorite restaurant in New Orleans, great spot to have some refined local cuisine. It’s also has variety of seafood options. Not to mention, for a while, I came here for its burger.
Hh oysters are .75c. Worth it for that. The sammie and burger is huge and couldn't finish. Fries are on point, burger kinda disappointing. Cheesy Grits are thick! Great service
Shrimp and grits were so good. Quaint and were fortunate to be seated right in front of the kitchen which gave us a great view of all the dishes they were cooking up that night. Desserts were bomb.
Great seafood in NOLA. It’s busy but it’s worth to be in line. If you can, go during happy hours so you can get very good deals. Oysters and brussel sprouts were amazing.
They make some pastas fresh and accommodate for vegetarians (like me!). Great staff and solid food and drinks. They even gave us complimentarydesserts since we had a birthday at the table :)
Came for breakfast. Coffee is sensational. Espresso roast with a flavor of Greek/Turkish coffee and a hint of sweetness. Blood Mary was spot on in spicyness and the shrimp and grits were incredible
We really enjoyed our dinner here! Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun but still like a "nice" restaurant. The crab bisque and etouffee were amazing!
Amazing service. The buttermilkquail was divine. The chilled jumbo shrimp was not something I normally would order, but omg it was good. This place is good enough to distract you from an apocalypse.
Back again just because the customer service is perfect (Molly) The food is great too and the Beerwell lets just say the pubs in London should come to New Orleans to check out the competition.
Crawfish and burrata was delicious. Shrimpetouffee was solid. Looked like the raw bar is the reason to go here. Surprisingly, the matzo ball soup was great! Service was exceedingly average.
The raw bar is amazing. Get the smoked redfish and the tuna tartare especially. But also don’t forget about the quail. Because the quail was to die for
50 cent oysterbarhappy hour hands down awesome. Pair it with a sparkling rose and you're in for a good treat. Sit at the bar and tip the oyster schuckers well, they'll give you extras.
Raw bar: Our oysters are almost a deity in New Orleans. We love these things. Luke does the best job of sourcing oysters along the coast of Louisiana and a number of East and West coast varieties.
Their happy hour is outstanding! Half off almost all drinks (including their signature cocktails - try out their spin on a French 75!) and 75-cent oysters!
Huge portions, consider sharing an appetizer, plenty to eat, especially the pork bellyflat bread or sausage sampler. Try the Sazerac a New Orleans classic cocktail!
Worth stopping in to escape the fried madness of the French quarter. The medium seafood platter was almost filled up the three of us by itself. Be careful how much more you order.
The perfect blend of beef, brioche bun, delectable caramelized onions, bacon, and emmenthaler swiss, make this burger worth the hefty price tag ($16.50). Almost big enough to share.
