- It is tad bit expensive compared to other Indian restaurants that generally host lunch buffets for a reason . Try their light eats and a dessert / heavy drink. Or go for a full meal option.
- Padma MukkaJuly 28, 2013Entered expecting buffet at afternoon but left belching and happy after a hearty South-Indian thali at $10. Good quality food and reasonable price, best value for your money.
- Authentic south Indian Madrasi style food. Pretty costly but worth once in a while. I love the coffee their. They need to stop acting as weirdos and restric seating when asked to accommodate freely.
- shreyas krishnanJuly 28, 2013Do not waste your money here, many other affordable and flavorful venues are present in the the Dallas market including the Udipi Cafe in Richardson and best of all: Sarada's Kitchen. NY location =A+
- Jiger PatelFebruary 22, 2013Try their Dosa, it is one of the best ones I have had in Dallas area. I was disappointed with the ambiance of the restaurant, it is a Indian restaurant with no Indian art.
- Yasser MasoodMay 4, 2018If anyone who has lived in the Middle East and dined at their local branches, know that you'll be in good hands when you dine here.
- Krishna TJune 6, 2015Very authentic South Indian food. My fav is their "Thali". Finish your meal with masala tea or coffee.
- shruthi anantharamMarch 24, 2013The combos are nice. You get less quantity for higher cost. The coffee was good and kind of felt like the ones you get in India. The ambiance is exactly like any normal restaurant in Chennai.
- Tony DukeApril 21, 2013One the best places for veg Indian food. But my favorite is still Taj Chaat in Irving.
- Vianni PJuly 6, 2013Gets very crowded on weekends. There is no buffet but the South Indian menu options are fabulous!!!
- Mayank AnkarajuApril 26, 2015Good, spicy masala dosa. Really crowded seating arrangement. I'd rather go to Chennai Cafe or Madras Pavilion.
- Service seems to have improved! For dessert get the badaam halwa - heavenly!
- Best madras filter coffee ever in town.. Nostalgic :)
- Try the pongal. Literally melts in your mouth. Satisfaction and fulfillment guaranteed :)
- Gopala ReddivariJune 5, 2013The food quality is getting better as compared to a month ago. I recommend Kotthu Parotta
- Make sure to have TUMS handy to deal with heart burn..
- SheilaJuly 6, 2015Food is okay but service is seriously lacking and very poor. I think this should have either been a self-service type of fast food establishment or had much better trained staff.
- Taste in this place is nowhere near the Chennai branches.
- Filter coffee is not worth the expensive $3.99. Please save your money
- shreyas krishnanJuly 28, 2013very disappointed. A+ customer service, as awful as in Chennai locations. Sambar = B, Aviyal = A/A+, Adai = F, raw in the middle and tasteless. Vadai Sambar = C, was tasteless. The manager argued.
