- Nicol HartzMarch 25, 2016amazing place! Order a cake and a coffee, play pinball, watch burgers transporting through the tubes and get some free water through their sewing machine. Pure entertainment! *****
- Ghayedaa GhurabOctober 10, 2016I really fall in love with this coffee i like every details especially the ways that food comes to the costumer but the latte wasn't good but totally everything was amazing i want to go every day.
- Darrell WebsterAugust 27, 2016Amazing cafe. A must-drop-in spot. I like coffee with flavor you can see. A small corner room displays their roasting machine through a glass door. Water fountain built into a Singer sewing machine.
- Lucy DavidsonApril 10, 2018Everything about this place is awesome! Not just the ideal of sliders via a Shute - staff were so friendly and great little quirky details to notice during your visit all around the restaurant!
- Hazel LamJuly 15, 2014The atmosphere is great! Just the portion of coffee is a bit small than standard size of regular, also for the large size of flatwhite not coffee enough, u can add another shot with $0.5 added.
- Still one of my favourite places in Christchurch. I particularly recommend the Super Choice Bro breakfast. Opens at 7am every day of the week but get in early as it gets crazy busy.
- Frank CastleOctober 18, 2014Fantastic flat white. Funky, clean place with a good sense of whimsy with bookcases that roll back to reveal doorways, a sewing machine that doubles as the water dispenser and a pneumatic tube system.
- David KennedyJune 4, 2018Had a great, well priced breakfast! Quick service, atmosphere plus in a heritage building! Highly recommended
- Andre SiregarJune 25, 2018I love the black coffee here -- bold and chocolate taste. Beans are freshly prepared. Highly recommend the C1000 coffee beans
- VaniJanuary 23, 2017Amazing flat white, great cakes and super funky interior, a must visit in Christchurch. One of the best cafes I've been too.
- M. ScottNovember 24, 2017Great for breakfast and lunch. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Breakfast burrito with jackfruit is amazing. Great place to work. Fast and free unlimited WiFi.
- Tine WanderlustJuly 17, 2015Best place to go and read, have a tea or eat. Great food and drinks. Miniburguers that go over the hidraulic pipes are OVER PRICE, recomend getting french fries instead!
- Lewy JonesNovember 9, 2018Excellent vegetarian, vegan and free-from options and lots of opportunities to tailor your meal
- AdventuresmizNovember 15, 2014Flat whites are really good. If you order a pot of tea you get to take some leaves home in a wee matchbox. Nice touches all round!
- Eva ZakouckaOctober 10, 2019Atmosphere, desserts and coffee to die for. Also the retro caffeine level testing machine :)
- Helen GiddensDecember 15, 2014Loved my bacon and avocado bagel and had a pot of delicious earl grey tea with the added extra of a matchbox of tea leaves to take home too :)
- Tracey LMay 15, 2014Cool place, funky water fountains( still is a sewing machine, sparkling is a dentists well) arty and good vibe. Check out the taps on the toilet cisterns
- Great food and speedy service but get in early to get a table as it is very popular. Order and pay at the counter.
- Carol FungNovember 22, 2015I love their mango shake, its delicious! And the fritters! The sliders come in the mail tubes and check out the bookshelf!
- Ms HeleneApril 8, 2017Good not great soy latte, seasonal fruit plate $12, friendly quick service and loud rock music
- Matt RowlesJuly 3, 2016The building is an old heritage site and looks sick, get on the hash browns! Only gripe is, they should do table service as the line can get pretty long. Food was great though!
- Lewis S.October 14, 2014Man, this place is amazing! Great good, great coffee, great atmosphere, some super cool features and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
- Neel HajareJanuary 13, 2020The pneumatic tube experience for ordering burgers and fries is really cool, but neither the food nor coffee is actually all that great. Also beware Chemex is DIY
- Alex TaylorApril 28, 2020as most coffee shops in NZ the coffee is fairly inconsistent I wouldn't rave about C1 coffee the location and venue is probably the deal breaker, service is fairly average a few staff wreck it
- Lewy JonesNovember 9, 2018The water stations are an IQ test (I failed). Ignore the three large black knobs and go directly to the tiny switch beneath. Or look hopeless until some helps you
- Zi ShawDecember 10, 2017Coffee is great, fab vibe, friendly service, great breakfast and heaps of vegan options!
- Anna JasinskiFebruary 26, 2016Good flat whites with soy milk, however to me it had a hint of goat flavour to it. Weird. If you order a Chemex coffee, you get the Chemex and have to prepare it yourself, did not expect or like that.
- JoannaNovember 8, 2014Very cool design and atmosphere, unfortunately bad coffee (burnt) and boring menu (eggs on toast, eggs on toast, eggs on toast)
- HankJanuary 30, 2016If you order sliders or curly fries, they are delivered by a vacuum tube system. And the bathroom is behind a hidden, automatic bookshelf door.
- Tommie NordholmDecember 4, 2013Really nice place. Perfect for a cup of coffee and some work. Free wifi as well. Best place in the area indeed.
- Simple DiscoveriesFebruary 6, 2016You can't go wrong with the sliders via pneumatic tube! And the fries aren't shabby either!
- My favorite cafe in New Zealand. Has it all, ambiance, WiFi, food, great coffee.
- Check out what the @WikiHouseNZ crew are up to at our regular Tuesday morning Meetup at 8-9:30am

- Jose RodriguezNovember 5, 2014Great coffee and espresso but I can do without the water fountain that makes everyone feel challenged
- KKOctober 18, 2014Loved the drinks and vibes. Plus they were playing a Harry Potter book on tape in the bathroom, so that's a win.
- Great vibe, open late, one of the best spots for a coffee and a chat
- Alex GaioAugust 9, 2017Pneumatic fries— literally! You can get them sent to your table in the tubes snaking around the café.
