- Christina HuJune 16, 2014Sardine toast w/curried tomato paste and fennel is da bomb. I could eat this every day and be a very happy lady. Get the raab- the peanut and toasted Serrano ham sprinkle on top make it a real treat.
- SamanthaDecember 18, 2015The Whale definitely Wins! Delicious plates of wholesome, cleverly crafted dishes! Passionate team, gorgeous space. Pretty sure we ordered every dish on the menu ☺️👍🏽
- Erin BrengleApril 15, 2013Everything we had was delicious! Staff was really helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was great! We tried the rabbit, sardines, and had rhubarb for dessert-I would recommend them all!
- Incredible. Roasted cauliflower is perfectly prepared with just the right garnish and sauce. Chicken pâté is exquisite and if you don't get the roasted chicken you have no right to be here.
- Mariko L.April 14, 2013Loved the sardine toast. While not exactly the coolest or most adventurous thing on the menu, I found the butter lettuce salad exactly what my palate wanted after the rich bone marrow. :)
- Beth Ann LockeMay 27, 2013We had such a delicious dinner. If you are in the neighborhood... anywhere in Seattle really... you should stop in. Interesting tastes, great share plates. I'll be back soon!

- Serious EatsMay 13, 2014The lines start early and go long, so try to either snag a reservation or come at an off-hour.
- Alice HuangJanuary 30, 2016Must get the chicken - you've never had chicken so good. Eton mess is never a miss, but sometimes isn't on ye menu.

- Serious EatsJuly 21, 2014Save room for dessert: the oversized meringues stacked near the front become an impressive Eton mess.
- Courtney ChatalasOctober 28, 2012The whole roasted trout with hollandaise and tarragon is to die for! Some of the best I've ever had!
