- Austin ChronicleFebruary 14, 2013A luxurious menu is matched by an adventurous wine list and an intimate, bistro feel. Don’t skip the house-baked bread: It’s stunningly good, especially when dipped in the Mussels & Clams wine broth. Read moreUpvoted Apr 24
- Erin NoelFebruary 12, 2014The Honeycrisp Apple & Rye is smooth, balanced, and too easy to throw back. Devour a plate of the brussels sprouts and leave room for the s'mores bread pudding with toasted marshmallow ice cream.
- EaterJanuary 7, 2014This is Larry McGuire at his best: high-quality ingredients, buzzy atmosphere, and great execution every time. Oysters are their specialty, but the burger is worth checking out, too. [Eater 38 Member]
- Justin MartinNovember 11, 2021Brilliant experience! Caviar was to die for, crab cakes were meaty & not much filler, the ceviche is one of the best, anywhere, & I could eat the sprouts all day long. Great wine, great restaurant!
- Derek OswaltNovember 5, 2018Clark's Cioppino is one of best seafood soups i've had in a while. The portion size, flavors, and bread with the soup are all amazing
- Jessie Gibbons (Meade)August 27, 2015First time here and I came for the oysters, but ended up getting the Red Snapper Ceviche. It's pretty tasty! Will definitely make a return trip for some oysters.
- Amazing food. Go for the shiny sea oysters, mussels, or red snapper ceviche. Go early or call ahead it's always busy. Or if you want a very late lunch it's great for that.
- I lied. I didn't have the burger. It looked good though. I ate steak tar tar, crab cakes, east coast oysters, macaroni, key lime yumminess and some cake. That was all dank. I'm a phony.
- Odile RoujolFebruary 7This place is fantastic: food , wines , cocktails, service , atmosphere, play list!
- Sujei SierraOctober 13, 2012If you love raw fish I highly recommend the ceviche (left) and the sashimi plate (right). The fish is very high-quality.
- Samantha SmithJuly 16, 2018Everything is great. Scallops are delicious. Mussels are great too. Recommend the cauliflower and kale sides.
- AmateurConciergeJanuary 23, 2022This spot is an Austin favorite. Food is good, but not great. Fries are like potato hay. Addictive. Dope vibe.
- Monica DesaiJanuary 6, 2022Incredible lobster roll, shells and crab, baked oyster and more ++ amazing vibes. Tough res, though!
- Christina HirschJuly 28, 2015Great happy hour. Get oysters, a martini, and a burger. One my favorite burgers in the city.
- Kyle ContinoDecember 11, 2014Had a good experience, except for the close seating. I could have done without the pretentious group of 20something girls eating off of daddies money, talking about how they're so well traveled
- Sujei SierraOctober 13, 2012Got 3 different oysters both west and east coast and everything was delicious. You can't go wrong!
- Jenny SorensenMarch 16, 2015Some of the absolute best seafood in Austin! Great cocktails too! Found it on this sweet new app: http://supper.mx/places/clarks-oyster-bar-austin/

- The shoestring fries are monstrously addictive, but for my money, the brussels sprouts are the secret sauce here...
- Jmie CeeAugust 7, 2014Make sure to start every meal here with a cocktail and a dozen oysters. Prince Edward Island oysters are my favorite.
- Sujei SierraOctober 13, 2012The smoked salmon plate is delicious. The combination hard-boiled egg, red onions and capers on the salmon is amazing.
- Raina K.March 13, 2023Happy Hour - Mon-Fri from 3-5pmHalf-off Burgers & Martinis. 50¢ offOysters; $5 Oyster Shooters.
- Kyle BunchFebruary 24, 2013One of two new oyster spots (the other being Winflo) that merit a visit if you're in the mood for bivalve mollusk.
- Les SimpsonJuly 26, 2013A Vesper martini with ceviche and gazpacho on a hot summer day can set the world back on the right track.
- Joie RobertsNovember 14, 2012Loved all the oysters- the kale side was good-- the bathroom is behind the bar backs area right of the fish tank- a little strange
- Matt LanningJuly 27, 2013Super-fresh oysters and the best service I've found in ATX. Highly recommended.
- SaraJuly 7, 2014Try a variety of oysters but show up early in the day or weekend to make sure they aren't sold out of most of them.
- Catherine SchneiderFebruary 18, 2013You can make a reservation, but there's a fair number of walk-in seats available too. Especially outside.
