- RCMay 13, 2015Very popular place. Unique sandwiches and wraps. Top notch quality. Many of the meat and cheese selections are from Boars Head which is generally considered the best you can get.
- Fondly known by the locals as the Brown Bastard, the brown dog has done an adequate job replacing Brent's, and adding casseroles to the special menu as of last week has gone a long way for redemption
- Lots of good choices here. From multiple hot dogs, reubens and melts, fish sandwiches, to a decent sized vegetarian/vegan menu.
- Jen SApril 22, 2019Excellent menu, best tuna Poke bowl I’ve eaten, and poutine fries were too addicting!!!
- Lisa RodriguezAugust 30, 2019Very nice waitress. Nice garden spot. Chili was super salty. Found hair in one of the sandwiches!
- Emily StumpfOctober 4, 2017Awesome little place to stop in for a bite while walking around Charleston.
- Melody MillerFebruary 7, 2023Love the food. Changed seating layout, much less cozy. Feels like a takeout joint.
- Mary Catherine JamesDecember 31, 2016Excellent food and they deliver! The Wes French Onion Grill Cheese is amazing!
- Jesse PalmaMarch 9, 2013Absolutely amazing. Vegan and gluten free options as well as all American style hot dogs.
- Ask for the vegan menu. Has some great choices like the vegan Reuben.
- Get the roast beef and blue wrap. My favorite thing on the menu.
- Jill ArmstrongJuly 13, 2014visited Charleston and ate here twice. BBQ sandwich and Philly sandwich was so good! Family got short rib! Awesome. Don't think anything here is bad!
