Tuna belly was the best plate I have ever had! The best service in Portland. We ordered all small plates and a couple entrees. Each one took us on a journey we will never forget. Highly recommended

Sit at the end of the bar closest to the door and watch Brandon make custom ice cubes for cocktails - he's a great bartender and conversationalist too - salted pepper prawns are killer good.

Brandon Wise's affordable drink menu includes a classic Vieux Carre, the "New Money" (featuring bourbon, Nardidi amaro, hickory vermouth, and bitters), and the Radish cocktail featuring radish sorbet.

Beer great, service amazing. Burger is simple but so delicious! Gnocchi are fried so good! Duck meatballs are spicy but interesting. Prices are reasonable definitely must visit!

Loses some of the Portland vibes due to its connection to a hotel. But still, quality food and drinks. Worth a stop if it’s not packed. Also the biscuit is a must during brunch.

The duck meatballs are transporting. No joke. The Parker house rolls put the rolls at the original Parker House to shame. There is not a dessert that is less than splendid here. Imperial is amazing.

Needs: Duck meatballs, fried rabbit with honey, barrel-aged hot sauce and pickled watermelon rind and a friend who will order the ribeye. Wants: Every single one of Brandon's cocktails.

If you have dinner at the imperial, please have the porkchop. Absolutely the best I have ever had. Over 2" thick and cooked perfectly

Traditional American breakfast and brunch dishes dominate the morning menu while local Oregon ingredients are the star at dinner.

Duck meatballs paired with Parker House roll (crisp, faintly sweet top cracks open to reveal warm, airy, delectable interior) - So yum!!! My new comfort meal.

It's connected to a hotel, which made me leery, but the food, service and atmosphere were terrific. Don't miss the house made pop tart at breakfast

You must try the remarkably moist duck meatballs with prune sauce. The sauce laced with cinnamon, star anise, orange zest and cloves is good enough to eat by the spoonful.

Get the beet salad with ham hock and white chocolate lardo. The quail, porcini risotto, duck 3-ways, oysters, and pork chop were also incredible.

Food was actually just so-so for me. I got the pork and it was a slab so dry and thick I couldn't eat it. The best part was the Vieux Carre drink...I now make this at home and its almost as good :-)
