- Laurie DubnowDecember 30, 2016Brunch is great, but it's only available on Sat and Sundays. Lunch menu is very good too if you go a diff day. Egg sammy w/ chick apple sausage on a pretzel roll. 1 White choc caramel pretzel pancake!
- Simon KFebruary 24, 2015Don't sit by the window in winter, your food will get cold even quicker than you do. Bloody Mary overly peppered, red velvet pancakes great, shrimp disappointingly chewy. Good coffee and great eggs.
- lisaJuly 5, 2017I had the Vegetarian croissant 🥐 & my mom had the breakfast burrito 🌯 Both were amazing. Definitely will be back!
- Mayalin BarrJuly 15, 2014Just as amazing service as the location in WP, however I prefer the setup of the Andersonville one. They have a beautiful patio in the back that the wicker park location should be envious of.
- Jordan YoungSeptember 30, 2013Always get at least one pretzel pancake, yep you can order just one. Then you get a nice sauce to cake ratio. My go tos are the vegetarian croissant sandwich or BLT eggs benedict. So good!
- Spoon UniversityJune 2, 2016The Bongo Room in Andersonville has a cozy outside dining area. Look for unexpected twists on familiar brunch standards, like red velvet pancakes or a sweet potato and black bean burrito. Read more
- Katie MillikenDecember 21, 2016Beautiful ambience and great service. We each had an omelette (delicious potatoes) and split pancakes. Pancakes were fluffy and decadent! Drinks were solid too.
- John KhuuJanuary 26, 2015Come after 12pm, put your name down, go get a beer at Hopleaf, then your good. Service was great and the BLT Benedict was amazing. Def add this to your breakfast list.
- Bongo Room is an institution. Its just as fabulous in Andersonville as it is in Wicker Park. Anyone who says otherwise just doesnt know what they are talking about. Amazing food & amazing service!
- Gloria ChinJanuary 17, 2013giant wait sometimes! Banana flapjacks filled w/ crumbled bacon, topped w/ praline sauce & creme anglaise. BLT benedict, red velvet pancakes. you can order 1-3 per order. check out all day specials
- Katie WhiteMarch 2, 2014The special French toasts are generally delicious. Rhubarb crisp was out of this world. The cream sauces on their breakfast sweets are divine.
- Steve PolandNovember 1, 2013Love this place. Lines form in morning but worth the wait. If you have a sweet tooth for breakfast, this is your joint.
- Eric CookAugust 17, 2014Both the food and staff rock. I don't think you could go wrong with any food selection.
- Bobby KennedyMarch 28, 2017Really easy place to get into during the week. Their sweet options are inventive and delicious.
- If you feel like splurging and are craving savory vs. sweet, the lobster roll benedict is insanely good.
- Joshua BrownSeptember 9, 2013Dude! The only way I can explain it is with whatever you've considered to the best that ever happened to you times infinitie's mom! Sooooo gooood!
- Joseph B.May 8, 2018Great food and service, but if there is more than 1 in your party, there will be a wait.
- Jay JoseAugust 16, 2014Amazing food with exceptional service! If weather permits, ask for outdoor seating! You won't regret it!
- Matthew SmithDecember 7, 2012This brunch spot is all about decadent cuisine. Good thing the neighborhood offers a great walking experience, because you'll have a lot of calories to burn!
- Amy RobertsonMarch 21, 2016The pancakes are more cake than breakfast food. The omelettes and burrito are good alternatives
- Elliott ChengerAugust 8, 2014The croissant sandwhich is great, as well is the pretzel pancakes. The service is lacking and not hospitable but still worth going.
- Diane PeacockMay 22, 2013BEST. PANCAKES. EVER. white chocolate pretzel encrusted or 4 berry graham cracker are my fav's. YUM.
- Wayne WilsonJune 5, 2013When asked 1,2 or full stack might want to get 1 or 2 I am a big guy and stuffed with just 1/2 my pancakes gone hate waisting food
- Brandon VanceJuly 21, 2013Amazing food. For sure try the Eggs Benedict. And say you want to sit outside.
- Nate BleadornSeptember 3, 2013Great spot for brunch! Ask to be seated out back on their covered patio.
- npb chicagoMay 28, 2012Just wait until this place gets its liquor license. Brunch, in Andersonville, on a patio, south of Foster=forever changed.
- Go very early unless you want to wait. The good news is they really over estimate wait times!
