Crispy Brussel sprout leaves are a must, grits, and chicken thighs with fried mash were delicious. Happy hour until 6:30 PM, drinks go from $8 to $6. Try the curly tail with the jalapeño ice cubes.
Like the best elevated bar food? Really good chicken. Brussels leaves a bit too light/why just serve the leaves? Solid margs. Mac n cheese was the best I had in years
Barn chic, with a pleasant atmosphere, nice for a special evening out with friends. The gems on the menu dwell in the vegetables category: Brussels sprouts, fried smashed potatoes, and glazed turnips. Read more
Pastrami-cured salmon with pickledred onions and creme fraiche is amazing. The Brussels sprouts taste like candy. This is not a bad thing. It's also not a healthy thing. Overall amazing: just go!
110 Minute Egg & Smoked Pork Hock: Cheesy polenta topped with chopped smoked ham hocks and a perfectly slow-cooked egg. Green speckled parmesanbasil sauce smothers the egg for additional richness.
Everything is good here. No, I'm serious, even the Brussel sprouts is to die for. Go during happy hour if you can, most drinks and food are inexpensive during that time. Best foods I've had in Austin.
Great food, very busy and popular so make reservations.Duck fat fries, Grits, Brussel sprouts leaves, deviled eggs and boudinfritters shared with others worked for us.
This is seriously my new fav. restaurant in ATX! From the surprising perfect rosemary piglet drink to a great blackened redfish to the incredible banana fosters beignets-excited to go back to try more
Surprisingly good service. All the food is over the top. A must on the Austin cuisine scene! Duck fat fries are stupid good. Reasonably priced wines. Love the ambiance.
The drinks were great here, I had a hard time choosing from all the appealing options! It's a little pricey but not bad just for one or two drinks and a split appetizer.
Ridiculously amazing happy hour specials, and speed of service. It's really crowded though. Great food for a romantic evening too. Get the green eggs and ham and duck fat fries.
The happy hour prices are incredible, esp for the quantity! The charcuterie was good. The duck fat fries and devilled eggs were excellent. The fried chicken was good too.
Didn't love pork belly, but collards that come with it are fab. Braised pork was great. Loved all charcuterie - particularly chicken liver pâté. Butterscotch boudino dessert was lovely! Amazing staff.
The crispybrussel sprouts are tasty. Even my husband who doesn't like brussel sprouts enjoyed them. Crispy chicken thighs and pork blade steak were both delish. We had top notch service as well.
The pork belly is great really flavorful. I had the chicken thighs and they were good but there was so much more flavor in the pork belly it was hard to beat.
Where Red House Pizza was. Southern, pig-centric food. We had a cheddar cheese biscuit and pulled porkgravy special that was delicious. Blue-cheese stuffed pickledokra in the martinis - great idea.
Gluten-free options here! Know the owners and they are on the up & up on gluten-free dining & cross contamination! Just make sure to let your server know
The charcuterie plate was very hit and miss. Fried green tomatoes were okay, the dressings were better than the tomato. Beef shoulder was just like granny made it. Pork belly was to die for.
Let me tell you something about happy-hour pork belly tacos... I actually don't have much to say other than you should probably get some happy-hour pork belly tacos.
Happy Hour is amazing. Plenty of appetizers and drinks for $4. Then the rest of the appetizers and drinks are $2 off from 4:30-6:30. This place is so delicious!
