My favorite place for comfort food lunches and meaty sandwiches. The fruit cobblers and pies are top notch and have perfect pastry crust.

Crystal S.March 8, 2013Loved the Romaine salad w/ pickled cucumbers, but the chicken & dumplings were not what I expected! It is more like chicken noodle soup w/ a few dumplings, not thick & creamy like my grandmas.
After a good bit of tinkering and tweaking, The Whiskey Jar's whole broiled trout tastes like perfection. Simple. Correct. Good. Get it. Get it good.
