- Lesley K.June 28, 2013You'll never eat Chinese elsewhere again. This place is insanity. Try the crispy cucumber in chili oil, Dan Dan noodles are a must and if you are a spice junky the hot pot style speaks to your soul.
- Lisa MengucciOctober 14, 2019The food is true szechuan food. Very authentic and by far the best in the city. They have locations throughout philly and have never had a bad meal. When the spice level is 10, believe it!
- This is one of my favorite places to eat in Manayunk. The Dan Dan Noodles are INCREDIBLE -- a must-get. Food comes out fresh, hot, and quick. Good for sharing and trying new things.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Jan KlincewiczJune 5, 2017I think Han in Manayunk is among the best of all locations. They spice as requested, and obviously use very hot oil. Fish is crispier than other locations. The weekday lunches are a bargain.
- Love that this list location is a BYOB. Each location has a different specialty, but they all have Dan Dan Noodles and Crispy Wonton. Never had anything I didn't like.
- Emily FarrickerApril 24, 2017Looking for some good Chinese food at a decent price. Look no further. Come on in and try the Wonton Soup and the Dan Dan Noodles. Both are a must!
- PhillyismFebruary 12, 2012Check out our Han Dynasty review for all the details. Quick tip: get the dry hot pot and the cucumbers in chili oil. So so good. http://philly-ism.com/2012/02/right-this-way-to-spicy-heaven/
- Lou DAugust 5, 2012One of the top 50 Chinese spots in America (according to CNN), this is a top spot szechuan cuisine (note: spicy). You seriously can't go wrong with most menu items here, though
- Abir GurJuly 11, 2012Amazing. Everything. Eggplant in garlic sauce is delicious, dry pepper chicken so good. So happy to find excellent Chinese in manayunk!!!
- Daniel WolfAugust 6, 2014Come here with as many friends as possible, order lots of dishes, and share family style. The small menu has a surprising amount of variety.
- Abir GurAugust 13, 2012Excellent food but need to improve service time. Been here an hour and have received three of 8 dishes. Eating one dish at a time isn't family style I know and love
- Chris RichardsAugust 8, 2014BYOB and great for later dining. I love the seared green beans with pork - sounds boring, but super flavorful.
- John PernockJanuary 14, 2014This is my 4th time here. Go for the Dan Dan Noodles and Chicken dish that's the 10/10 spicy. It's delicious.
- Abir GurAugust 13, 2012Also: larger rice bowls for larger tables might help. Had to get ours refilled maybe 10 times for table of 5. Perhaps we just eat a lot of rice, but I saw others asking a lot too
- Theo HollerbachApril 25, 2012Try the Dan Dan Noodles - Szechuan restaurant that gives you a choice of heat index 1 to 10. 6 makes you sweat. I am in heaven
- Satori NSeptember 28, 2013Wait staff was inattentive & the rice was old. The entrees were well prepared and tasty ( double cooked pork belly and dry fry beef). Would have been nice to have fresh sticky rice to eat with them.
- Theo HollerbachApril 25, 2012Try the Dry Pot Style Beef - Tender beef slices triple flash fried with various chili peppers and herbs Wow is an understatement
- Prateek ReddyMay 17, 2015All the items we tried especially the red pepper chicken and the garlic style sauce.
- Theo HollerbachApril 25, 2012Try the Pork Belly in Spicy Garlic Sauce - Wow this is good spicy just perfect enough to clear your sinus
- Theo HollerbachApril 25, 2012Try the Crispy Chicken And Rice - Sweet and sour done perfect ranks as best Chinese food I ever had
- I must not fear spicespice is the bland killerbland is the little death that brings total dissatisfactionI will swallow the spice and let it flow through me
- Junior TaylorMay 12, 2012Dry hot pot was mind altering.... Was so good had other customers asking what I had... Comes still sizzling over a flame
- Spicy cucumber is to die for. So are the chili won tons.
- Kathryn StracquatanioMarch 23, 2012The schezwan peppercorn makes your tongue buzz when you have the drypot. So good.
- Shannon O'RourkeJanuary 5, 2012Spicy crispy cucumber appetizer nom nom nom! I'm so happy Han Dynasty is in the 'yunk!
- If you ever get Casey as a server, run away. She sucked so bad. Talked to another table for 15 minutes while she knew we were paying.
