- Kaitlin HerndonJune 16, 2015One of my favorite places in Ft Worth. Awesome outdoor/indoor atmosphere right next to the river with great food & music. My go-to picks are the rib meat tamales, kimchi tacos, & the Woodshed burger.Upvoted Mar 17
- Kate JonesOctober 9, 2015The better the weather, the more populated it will be...but can you blame 'em? Bulgogi Beef Tacos, Smoked Whitefish Dip, and a magical selection of good drinks keeps me coming back. Lovely river view!
- David PittsJuly 15, 2015In the face of a myriad of weird options, stick to the BBQ. It may be simple but it's also really good. Marks for the ribs in particular. If they have it, get a Deschutes Chainbreaker, super good IPA
- EaterJanuary 21, 2013Tim Love's shrine to smoked foods is a must-visit for out-of-towners; don't miss the camp bread with "pit master fat" or the brisket-stuffed piquillo peppers. [Eater 38 Member]
- DeimosSeptember 28, 2015Tim Loves Take on BBQ will leave your mouth watering, begging for more. Stick to the traditional meat and sandwich menu, that's where this place really shines. Excellent patio, K9 friendly.
- Leanna CarlileMarch 12, 2013Love this place! It's a great way to try different delicious foods! They also have a menu for your dogs and you can eat on the patio with them! Gorgeous view outside on the river, highly recommended.
- One of the best dining experiences in Fort Worth. You will never go wrong with the animal of the day or the sausage of the day. Plus, even the salads taste like they've spent time in the smoker.
- Jennifer DriggersAugust 31, 2014Butcher block sandwich is a nice blend of what the Woodshed is about! Like most BBQ sandwiches, it comes with a tangy coleslaw to even out the smoky, yet spicy flavor of the sandwich.
- Try the ramen. Best broth ever. Flavor is phenomenal. Forget any notion of cheap ramen. Only similarities are the noodles and the color of the broth. :)
- Amanda RAugust 24, 2013Sit by the river! So pretty. And the fact that I'm still thinking about this place the next day says a lot! It wasn't just the food (which is incredible) but the atmosphere was relaxing!
- Men's Health MagJuly 9, 2012This smokehouse relegates beef and pork ribs to its "Traditional Q" section of the menu while other options burst with modern flavors. Order piquillo peppers stuffed with brisket and cotija cheese.
- Sharon AllenMarch 16, 2016So delicious. Won't bother going anywhere else when I'm in fort worth. Soo good. Try any burger and pork ribs, you won't be disappointed
- Sarah PetersonAugust 19, 2015Was very disappointed they dropped Advantage valet because I always thought they were all nice people who worked hard but at least the foods good and cool atmosphere. Lamb brisket is my favorite.
- Beef ribs. Seasonal beer. Smoked whitefish. Confit potato salad. Heavenly.
- Brent GatewoodAugust 7, 2014My favorite restaurant in Fort Worth. Butchers Sandwich is great as are the daily menu items.
- Chance NewmanMarch 21, 2015Great beer selection and outside seating right on the trinity when the weather is nice.
- Mack PrioleauJuly 22, 2016Great atmosphere by the river, and pet friendly. If you are feeding a crowd, try the Shin...you won't forget it.
- Dallas ObserverSeptember 25, 2014Ramen isn't exactly something you would expect to see at a barbecue restaurant, but leave it to Chef Tim Love to find a way to make it work.
- Jennifer StaciokasMarch 3, 2013Get here early to snag a seat on the patio! Highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich. And the patio is pet friendly...bonus!
- MargauxApril 6, 2013Outdoors is the place to be. Don't forget to order the white fish dip and also their hummus both are tremendous.
- Shri LDecember 28, 2016Price-y but worth it. Get the half rack or the game meat. Cool photo spot too
- Service has gone down hill big time but the Ribs and the Baked Potatoes are AMAZING! Get the Artichoke Appetizer, you won't be sad you did.
- LaurenAugust 16, 2012Order the brisket stuffed piquillo peppers with a side of corn tortillas and turn them into tacos. Dredge your tacos in the bone broth.
- JeanieMarch 17, 2013BBQ with a twist. Non-traditional but in a good way. Haven't had anything I didn't like there. Been back multiple times.
- John BuczinskiNovember 23, 2014Pulled pork, ribs, chicken, brisket, hot links... All delicious Texas BBQ
- Chris GFebruary 4, 2012Bypass the tables for a spot in the courtyard. Grab enough chairs for your friends and you will save yourselves a massive wait from the bar area.
- Matt SchmertzAugust 5, 2012One of the coolest restaurants I've been to in Ft. Worth. Get a seat on the patio!
- M UMay 19, 2012EVERYTHING I had was Unbelievable! Pulled Pork Sandwich, Mexican Corn, WOW, and Cauliflower was Great!
- Don't believe the hype on the pit master fat. It's grease from the smoke pit described as "dip" for your bread. It's a bit like dipping bread in the grease trap under your grill. Artichokes nuf said
- Maddy Heine-WongMarch 24, 2012You won't go wrong with the burger. Call in a reservation or get there EARLY.
- Don DibertMay 29, 2021Angry People should not be allowed to leave reviews! The Lamb Brisket was lovely. Expensive? Not terribly. Liquor costs at places like this. Entrees are priced fairly. Great Atmosphere.
- TV Food MapsSeptember 2, 2014Check out Woodshed Smokehouse as seen on Bizarre Foods America , Food Paradise Read more
- Get the smoked loaded baked potato. I am serious. EVERYTHING else is good too.
- Butcher's sandwich and crispy potatoes are a guilty pleasure
