Vegan/Vegetarian heaven. SpicyFried Cauliflower is a great starter. The BistroSteak Sandwich or Portobello Jibarito are tasty with seasoned fries. Even your meat-eating friends will love this place.
If you're new here you can't go wrong with the Portabella & Sausage Burger. Unless you don't like portabella mushrooms. In that case go for the Yo Amigo Taco Salad and make sure to add avocado!
This is a great vegetarian place on the Loop. The staff is extraordinarily friendly. If you let them know you are new to the place they will help you though the menu and give you samples
I bought a falafel wrap and my boyfriend bought a Southwestern Burger which were both vegan and DELICIOUS! They do need better drinks but aside from that great.
Cool vegan spot with delicious food and refreshments. Definitely not your $5 meal joint though so make sure to come prepared. Aside from that, highly recommended.
Everyday they have a special item that comes with a side for free. I tried three already and liked all of them. The watermelon fresca drink is delicious.
Get here early for lunch - it gets crowded quickly. Menus on the wall are hard to read - pick up one of the takeout menus as you walk in and work out what to order as you queue.
If you are vegan, vegetarian, or a vegan/vegetarian sympathizer, you will enjoy a meal here. But everything costs about $2 more than if you ate the meat.
Get to kale micro bowl (add a little salsa from compliments bar for added kick) plus the lavender lemonade is a must (add few mint leaves for a refreshing twist).
Yo Amigo Taco Salad was incredible. I'm usually scared of faux meat but it was delicious, as was the lavender lemonade. Great atmosphere and friendly staff!
To food is a nice vegan treat for sure but I highly recommend you get take out. The smell of Dettol or Lysol or what ever cleaning agent they use in the restaurant is so strong I can't taste my food.
