- David ShapiroJanuary 12, 2014Brunch special on the weekends is a great value and was really good food. Been there twice and highly recommend it. It's just a good neighborhood diner with really nice people working there.
- Many of the tips are from when this was Cosmos...ignore them! Good place to grab a bite and reasonably priced. Check out Mcswiggans for a drink after dinner!Upvoted 1 week ago
- ..love people watching while eating and look for Steve,he's the man!The food is great and the service crew are amazing!:)
- Nate FolkertJuly 16, 2022texas tuna melt wrap was pretty good, though it would be improved if they threw the tuna and cheese on the griddle and actually made it a melt
- Sweet staff, never rush you, and the food is decent enough. The rib specials are great - braised shortribs and BBQ ribs both fantastic. Good value for money.
- I think the new place is an improvement foodwise over its Cosmos predecessor. One waiter who knew me as a regular stayed on at the Orion. Oh, love the Greek Egg Lemon soup served on Tuesdays.
- Marie MossJuly 20, 2019Tater tots!! They have excellent tuna salad, which is hard to find! Also, great lemon meringue pie and chocolate chip layer cake!
- DoubleDeuceJanuary 1, 2020Typical diner for when you need all of the food options and you cannot decide who is going to decide on a place. Plus, they have better than average bathrooms for a diner!
- Marie MossNovember 11, 2017The tuna sandwich is sublime! With their sour pickles, it’s the best! The Coffee is very good!
- Nickie BalboaSeptember 7, 2012Try the 2nd ave salad with balsamic vinegar. Beautiful! Wonderful, nice people.
- Dennis OwensFebruary 24, 2013The staff is much more inclined to st around and chit chat, than see to customer needs.
- Brittany ComminsAugust 21, 2013This is the best diner in NYC. Try the soups and the gramercy burger.
- Great service, average diner fare with lots of options. You'll leave happy.
- Attention Greeks: some of the best avgolemono soup in Manhattan.
- This is a great diner with great wholesome comfort food .
- There is a sugar-free apple pie on the menu that is delicious!
- Servers are great, food is great and they have sweet potato fries.
- Andy BurnsSeptember 29, 2013They brought me the wrong omelette. It looks like a full block of horrible tasting cheese was dumped on top of it also. Inedible. Didn't get my toast. Why is this place so busy when the food is crap
- Zach SteereMay 16, 2013Good food but be warned, their prices are really expensive for a diner. One glass of juice was $4.25.
- Sveta SFebruary 16, 2011The food is bland, so I don't see any reason to come here, other than if you are researching the classic American diner culture for your novel or article
- Stephanie HwangDecember 27, 2012They gave us MAYO instead of BUTTER for the french toast. THREE coffees instead of TWO. OVER EASY instead of POACHED. In ONE VISIT. No thank you.
- Phillip JamesFebruary 3, 2012The Grand Opening was today, Thursday 2/2/2012. Goodbye Cosmos Diner and Hello Orion Diner And Grill.
- Matzoh ball soup not as good as mom's, but a good 'hood substitute.
- Daniel KlapaMarch 17, 2012The food was decent(so was Cosmos) and their were a few more heads in the place but our server was miserable.
- Emma MarkhamJanuary 19, 2010Our original NYC diner. Staff aren't very friendly, but the burgers are genuine and the pickles are excellent.
- Not very good for the price. Been here several times and consistently mediocre. Also found a hair in the food...
- Michael SteigmanDecember 29, 2012Awful diner, they can't even make a simple Omelette and even the toast tastes bad. AVOID this place like the plague.
- Barbara HubertNovember 8, 2010Definitely found a many-legged bug in my turkey wrap. The owner tried to tell me it was a naturally occuring thing one can expect when eating lettuce. No. Thank you.
- Adam DeerJanuary 22, 2010Dale is out of his filthy mind motzi sticks are awesome. Avoid the potato skins.
