- Chris FurnissDecember 18, 2014Only ever order the tasting menu. Sit at the counter if you can. If they offer you specials, always say yes. Trust them implicitly and you'll have one of the best meals of your life.
- EaterJanuary 21, 2013Chef Nathan Lockwood was most recently at supper club The Ruins. Now he has his own little spot on Capitol Hill, serving seasonal Italian with Northwest flourishes. [Eater 38 Member]
- Brandon WestFebruary 15, 2020If Michelin rated Seattle, I bet this place would get two stars. Fantastic experience all around and amazing food. Best restaurant I've been to in Seattle so far.
- ChrisJuly 15, 2018Tasting menu is pretty cool and inventive. Your choice of classic wine pairing, "modern" with mixed drinks and beer, and non-alcoholic pairing. Excellent service!
- Thomas GreenJanuary 8, 2014Definitely not a two dollar sign restaurant as this site suggests. Take out a mortgage on the home. Lots and lots of fresh truffles and very, almost too, complex dishes. The desserts were the best.
- Jackie WestsideNovember 5, 2016Went out of my way during my weekend Seattle trip to come here. Absolutely worth it. What experience you have here is not one you'll forget.
- Kevin DNovember 1, 2014The Pappardelle may be the best thing I have ever eaten. Great presentation, and great food overall. Definitely a place that I'll go back to.
- Emperor ConstantinMay 8, 2019Absolutely THE best restaurant in Seattle at this time. It's Italian inspired but don't expect the standard fare.
- KamsicleMay 15, 2013I went here for my birthday dinner and tried the 5 course tasting menu, absolutely delicious. Sit at the bar to watch the chef work his magic.
- Neil ChurcherMarch 18, 2023The food here is excellent. The staff are brilliant, the atmosphere informal. One of the we best in the PNW
- Kyle FletcherJanuary 18, 2014Very excellent foodie experience. It was great to sit at the bar and watch the chef cook. Careful, it's expensive, but worth it.
- minniemonOctober 9, 2015try: gnocchi with a rich Abruzzese ragu of lamb, or pappardelle with with braised tripe, oxtail, or both.
- Elan LevyJuly 8, 2017Great food, worst service. More than 20 minutes between courses, Sommelier that comes back to check on the wine only after the 3rd course, and not even an apology at the end of the evening.
- Jenn AndrewsFebruary 18, 2013Ask for seats at the bar, which boasts the best views in the house. Open views of the dynamic action in the kitchen.
- Derrick L.March 14, 2013Friendly service & great food. Try the waygu & rabbit for the mains! Very delicious.
- Candy ChanApril 8, 2016Was here for anniversary dinner. The beef tartar appetizer was very good. Entree was okay, the meat was a little dry. Dessert was alright.
- Prins PoloSeptember 12, 2021It’s just OK. Slow pace, OK food - but nothing close to a Michelin star experience which some reviews suggest
- If available, get the gnocchi ragu. And then four more.
