This cafe and ice cream shop is the perfect place to unwind during the day or after dinner. Free WiFi is available, as are excellent ice cream flavors (Earl Grey, Pistachio, Currants & Cream).
Veganchocolate sauce is amaze. Ditto the veganmint chip. Earl grey lives up to hype - refreshing; not too sweet and not too creamy. Possibly the best icecream I've ever had (and I eat a lot!)
Best tastes: earl grey, espresso. I always go for those + monthly specials (like a berrypie). VL dairy-free ice cream tastes much better than the regular♥️. Usually a super friendly staff.
Earl grey was so so good!! If you want try just one flavor I highly recommend you go with it. Peanut butter was amazing too, very rich and creamy but subtle.
This is some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Both the dairy and the vegan varieties are made with top-class ingredients, not too sugary or overpowering, just damn right delicious!
The company has also started make vegan flavors using cocoa butter, coconut milk and cashewmilk as a base. Among the vegan flavors, salted caramel and chocolate are the most popular.
Food network channel made their truck probably famous ahead of the actual shop. It is a very serene shop where everything screams "we are local". I personally like the seasonal fruity flavor ones.
Not just an ice cream stop! They also serve delicious Intelligentsia Coffee. They have a great space and rarely have a line. A good back-up plan if the line at Abraco down the block is out of control.
Amazing ice cream. I'm far from a vegan and decided to go for a vegan option. Holy crap, it definitely ranks up there on my ice cream lists. Price is a little expensive.
Quality, tasty vegan ice cream is hard to come by, that's where their chocolate ice cream saves the day. They source their chocolate from a producer who grinds whole vanilla beans into the cocomill.
A for AMAZING! Really great tasting ice cream - several unique and uncommon flavors. Red currant and cream can't be beat in the Summer. Oh, and their homemadecaramel sauce is stellar!
Delicious craft ice cream. Very popular spot to such an extent that by evening they could well be out of popular flavours! Mint choc chip was excellent.
Sad to say, but no more free WiFi (nor any WiFi). Better head to Starbucks or NYPL instead (with bonus of customer restrooms). Still best ice cream and coffee with prime window seats 😛😛💕💕💦👅👅
Insane collection of vegan flavors. Traditional flavors are rich and creamy. Great coffee. A classic NY ice cream staple. No longer offering restrooms.
Holy shit I never thought I'd say it, but the fucking vegan ice cream here is the shit. The dark chocolatevegan absolutely trounced the dark chocolate dairy in a head to head ice cream face off.
You can be sure that when you spot one of its pastel-yellow trucks, there will be a line snaking around the corner waiting for elegant ice cream flavors like ceylon cinnamon, hazelnut, and Earl Grey. Read more
Drove around the area looking for parking for dinner when we spotted this place & I was like f it lets get some ice cream! Can't go wrong w earl grey and hazelnut. Needless to say we were much happier
As a mint chip connoisseur, I was impressed with the mint chip. Sometimes these artisanalice cream shops put too much peppermint in so it tastes like mouthwash. Not the case here.
So conflicted about this place— I love the staff and everything on the menu (including Toby's Estate Coffee), but now no customer restroom. Gotta go to NYPL… if it's open 🚽🙅😩🌊
The best summertime treat in the hood. My go-to favorite flavor is Pistachio, but the Giandujia (chocolate hazlenut) is equally awesome. Plus they brew Intelligentsia Coffee! —Tanya
Smooth, creamy flavors. Creative (earl grey; gianduja) but not too weird. Coffee is excellent, too. If you're really thinking, you'll put the ice cream IN the coffee, now you've really got something.
If you want to queue for 45 minutes to eat some icecream - this is the spot for you! You might not mind watching the staff flirting with the young girls while you wait and wait !
I know everybody is crazy for this ice cream, but if you're not into unusual flavors, you may not enjoy having to wait in a long line for their ice cream.
Ask for a cone in your cup for no extra charge! The cocoa nibs were good, but have a very overpowering taste and took away from the taste of the ice cream a bit too much for my preference
