- Noah WeissOctober 18, 2015The extra crispy, cheesy garlic knots starter is legendary. Split that and a pizza -- the fennel sausage and pickled peppers was great -- for a tasty and cheap meal for two. Hip vibe for Boston, too.
- T BSeptember 26, 2016Delicious tomato sauce! Great place to go with your family, friends, or on a date. A small pizza is enough for one person. Their cafe is also a nice space for working w/ lots of natural light.
- Brian ParkNovember 12, 2015The Not Pepperoni with fresh rucola will make you rethink what you know about pizza. Also the Pecorino & Gremolata Garlic Knots are some of the best you'll ever have on the western hemisphere.
- Rory ParnessFebruary 20, 2017Perfectly caramelized crust has just the right crisp/chew balance. You can't go wrong with any pizza. Start off with the brussles sprouts salad
- Mohammad RedaJune 14, 2021Great staff, pizza, and atmosphere! I tried the margarita, truffle and mushroom and if I had to put them in order I would go with mushrooms>truffle>margarita. Also, the garlic knots were very tasty 😋
- Dan RobertsJuly 4, 2016Best pizza in Cambridge. Excellent Margherita, but the Mushroom and Fontina is why you should keep coming back. (This is also a quality coffee/baked-goods spot if you're nearby MIT.)
- Minnie KimSeptember 28, 2014The Breakfast Sandwich & "The Hot Mess" were both delicious, along with the basket of pastries! Unfortunately, however, the service was a bit slow/inattentive. But overall, great experience!
- Dan PullmanMay 20, 2012One of the most exciting local and sustainably sourced spots in Boston. From creative salads to fine pizzas. Great beer selection and fine comfortable scene. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- skyleOctober 10, 2013Mac n cheese here worth the splurge! Perfectly soft shelled noodles, sprinkled with just crunchy bread crumbs, baked in a mini cast iron fry pan...mmmm perfect on a chilly fall day!
- Ingrid WongMarch 28, 2015Mushroom & Fontina pizza and the Margherita pizza are excellent! Service is efficient. It's a great place for lunch or dinner with groups. They also have a cafe next door.
- The Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad w/ kale, pecorino cheese & toasted hazelnuts is a delicious (and light) pre-cursor to Area Four's wood-fired pizza/entrees. Definitely one of my favorite menu items!
- Every espresso drink is stellar. I sometimes get the mocha as a treat. Iced or hot, it's the best i've had anywhere else. Not too sweet. The right balance of coffee/chocolate/milk. Delicious.
- Esther BeckersSeptember 24, 2016Went there for the 9.2 rating on Foursquare& had pizza Margherita and garlic knots. Totally okay but expectations were higher. Nice and casual atmosphere, good service, fine pizza, tasty cocktails
- ElenaJanuary 27, 2012Low key and delicious. The pretzel starter might be a beers best friend. The thin crispy crust on the pizza is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing on both the margarita and mushroom pizzas I tried.
- Alexey IvanovMay 5, 2013Awesome place to get a pizza (@ the restaurant) or a coffee and a breakfast sandwich (@ the cafe). Also a good spot to work with your computer: decent wifi connection and plenty of sockets would help.
- Richard GordonMay 6, 2016Everything is great here! Especially the pizza, of course. Nice, casual service. Very attentive and speedy.
- Serious EatsMarch 15, 2014While the café offers a slew of other breakfast offerings, if you're in the mood for something decadent, the <strong>Sticky Bun Cinnamon Roll is ideal
- Olivier JaninOctober 26, 2014🍻good place for a bier and a slice of pizza. Even on Sunday night, it is crowded of geek scientists and MIT researchers.
- Vanessa GatlinMarch 11, 2014(Best of Boston 2013-CAMBRIDGE (Kendall)) Improper Bostonian says, "The brunch will bring you to your knees (pastry chef Katie Kimble is a wizard), but that doesn't mean any meal settles for less."
- BikaboutApril 15, 2014Their outdoor seating borders a huge, rare open lawn among the glass biotech towers, and the sidewalk seating makes an excellent perch for bike lane people watching.
- Get one of everything for dinner. It's that good. Consistently lives in my top 5 pizza places in or around Boston. Put an egg on it too.
- Tom WangApril 26, 2016The pizza is pretty good. I would split a couple different pies with friends to optimize the flavor experience
- Ricky SherrillMarch 19, 2016Did not know I was going to a pizza place for Sunday Brunch but now I am a fan. Great staff and food. I plan to return the next time I am in town.
- This place is great. They serve lady-sized beers and make their own soft serve ice cream. AND they serve things in the tiniest of cast iron skillets! Truly tiny!
- A SMay 7, 2016The Hawaiian is one of the best I've ever had. Everything is delicious.. even something as simple as garlic knots!
- One of the few places in town that does a great cortado. Also get there before 10 for the freshest bagels and breakfast sandwiches
- Sofia UzApril 4, 2015Trendy restaurant with a pretty good pizza selection, nice place for a drink not so much the whole dinner experience. brunch menu is a little strange.
- Sit outside and enjoy a drink after work from their selection of local beers. Backlash declaration IPA and Slumbrew Hefeweizen both solid choices.
- D ARJune 9, 2017Perfect for when u want to have something to eat and get coffee too. The garlic knots were amazing! The brownie too
- Sandra RubinchikNovember 16, 2015You can add two eggs to any pizza. That said, I keep accidentally ordering everything but the pizza. (And it never disappoints!)
- Liam GandelsmanSeptember 3, 2017Fun brunch, small portions but pretty filling and a great atmosphere. The Hot Mess is really yummy!
- Rory ParnessMarch 26, 2016It's one of those places where even if you are grossly full, you can't stop eating. The bacon and clam pizza was sublime
- Carrie BevisJanuary 19, 2015The breakfast sandwich, served between two fluffy, house made rolls, was the bomb! Great fire groups!
- Vadim LitvakMarch 5, 2014Great sausage & banana pepper pizza! Good service at the bar. Would definitely return.
- KibbeeMarch 3, 2014The stuffed clams were great! (A bit pricey 2/$12) any pizza you get, throw eggs on it, you're welcome. Great decor.
- Supriya ManotJune 22, 2016The staff is nice enough to make vegetarian variations - the pizza is spot on. Great ambience too!
- EaterJanuary 12, 2012Wood fired pizzas dominate the menu but other delights such as blue fish pate are equally noteworthy. [Eater 38 Member]
- Vanessa GatlinMarch 31, 2015If the mushroom fontina pizza was good enough for President Obama on 3/30/15 after visiting the EMK Institute, it's good enough for me.
- John CapecelatroJune 13, 2012Super good baked goods, great coffee, and not nearly as frequented as Voltage. Feels European for sure which is a nice change of scenery.
- Tamires M.April 29, 2017Awesome Mushroom &a Fontina pizza with the perfect hint of zest! 🍋 Great way to close a long week.
- Kristen LeonardJune 25, 2015One of my favorite pizza places in the Boston area. Also, the brunch drink flight is pretty rad.
- The have the best, super-tart lemonade. Get an Arnold Palmer, but ask for it 7/8 tea 1/8 lemonade
- Boston.comDecember 30, 2011Two restaurants in one, both tailor-made for Tech Square: an all-day bakery-cafe attached to a sparse, industrial dining room with two wood-fired ovens. Read more
- TCM Turner Classic Movies on the coffee shop side - nice break from the routine to see snippets of classics while waiting for your order.
