They do the uni don justice. Generous portions of uni for $22 in a bowl larger than my face.

Hidden gem in midtown east. It's a Japanese eatery / piano bar / karaoke. They are so generous with the amount of sashimi they put into a bowl. $22 is so worth it for Uni don. Kirin draft is only $4.

Hidden gem in midtown east for fresh chirashi bowl. Ask for daily special, get seated by the bar. Friendly host and attentive staff. If you come on Sat nights, they may even have live jazz music.

Great value for chirashi bowls, which are massive. Fancier options such as uni or toro also available sometimes.

DO NOT go for the Piano Bar that starts after 9pm. They will treat you like crap if you do not speak Japanese.
