- I lived in South Korea for almost nine years. These folks make an excellent 김치 볶음밥, kimchee bokkum bap. It's about 3 times more what you'd pay in Korea, but that's how it goes. It's worth it.Upvoted Feb 11
- Arnold GSeptember 9, 2012Get the spicy chicken wings. It's not as hot as you might think, and it's my fave Korean Fried Chicken in the Bay Area. Also available at Spoon Korean Bistro in Berkeley (same owners).
- Manuel GonzalezAugust 1, 2017It is amazing, I keep thinking about this place when I am out of the area. Definitely a must visit
- EiMa AMay 18, 2015Tasty food and comfy atmosphere. Fried chicken wings and jap chae so good! Drinks and slushies are yummy too - pomegranate, lemon tea with bits of lemon... Refreshing!
- I've been coming here for years. The 볶음밥, kimchi fried rice, is amazing. The chicken is pretty damn good too.
- Anjali YNovember 24, 2014The glazed potatoes are worth the 15 min wait. Order them as soon as you sit down. They are really more a dessert than side dish, but so delicious.
- Mauricio CandamilApril 16, 2017Korean food is very good. The Bibimbap with pork belly was very good as well as the chicken wings.
- Brian StraussNovember 13, 2023Tasty for lunch. This place is about KFC and Bi bim bop. I like the Dol sot bi bim bop. Tons of veggies.
- Sir Francis WestSeptember 23, 2016One of the best Korean restaurants I have ever been to. Decently priced amazing food.
- AliceMarch 19, 2016Fried chicken wings. So good. Apparently the quality of food here is a lot better than these one on Telegraph.
- Frank KimAugust 12, 2015The kimchi stew was decent enough, will be back to try more from this sorta new age style Korean restaurant.
- The Kimchi rice bowl was really good. Kids loved the kids bowl. Huge portions.
- What they lack in the amount of side dishes they make up for in portion size. The japchae could easily be shared between 2 people.
- The kimbap was blander than others I've had. They don't season the veggies beforehand
- Island BruinMarch 28, 2013go for the bbq- rice bowl was surprisingly bland, even with plenty of hot sauce. friendly staff
- Laura PJanuary 7, 2012Urgh delicious! BBQ pork, fried Kim Chi dumplings, and spicy ramen are amazing.
- David AMarch 21, 2012Except for the name 'Bowl'd', this would not be out of place in LA Koreatown. Stays true to the cuisine while putting its own modern flair.
- The fried kimchi dumplings are delicious even to non-kimchi fans.
- The spicy chicken wings are a must have. I order them every time!
- Craig WoodMarch 26, 2012Waited forever. Nobody greeted or talked to our party. Left. Maybe our 3rd visit will be better.
