I just love doing homework in this space, just the right amount of noise and music. It can be crowded but you can almost always find someone to share a table with!
This architecturally stunning spot on the Columbia University campus has fast free wifi, courtesy of the college, real good sandwiches, quality baked goods and great coffee. Read more
Best coffee on Columbia's campus, but lacking gluten free food choices. The hibiscusiced tea is an awesome choice when you don't feel like coffee. Beware: the chai mix has dairy in it, is not vegan.
Awesome place to work or have an informal meeting. Amazing coffee. I'm a big fan of the small latte or flat white depending on what part of the world you are in.
Well crafted, high quality coffee. This location is super convenient for those of us who live in the Heights! Never had trouble getting a seat, but I tend not to mind sharing a table with a stranger.
We don't enjoy Joe's espresso as much since the switch to Intelli Black Cat, but today's thick, bright shot had a fruity enough aftertaste to overcome the popcorn-y tinge and left us wanting another.
Get a chai latte and share a table with a stranger. The views from the floor to ceiling windows and a warm drink make you feel like studying even when you are exhausted.
Come for the enormous glass walls that look out onto the more traditional architecture of Columbia's Teacher's College. Coffee feels standard, and food options are sadly a bit limited.
If you haven't tried the French Dip, you are really missing out. If you're vegetarian, the Guacamole & Hummus Sandwich is the tastiestiest combo of vegetarian fun between two awesome slices of bread.
This joe is near/in Columbia university is so crowed with students who occupy most of the seats doing their homework. Some of them don't even order coffee or food. Very inconsiderate people!!!!!
Quality coffee drinks and beautiful all-glass and granite environment. Generally dislike the music and they continuously skipped my order when redeeming my customer loyalty card (10 drinks = 1 free).
Typical student-café on campus (Columbia University). The location is nicely overlooking an intersection. Unfortunately it's always crowded and you might not even be able to score a seat.
Packed with college kids, long lines though move quickly, hard to get a seat, cappuccino was delicious but even for NY ridiculously priced. At least there's good eye candy.
The Colombian coffee is from the wrong place in Colombia. Instead of being from the coffee region it's from the sugar region, hence why it may not be the favored coffee here.
