The Deep South-inspired casual eatery blends New Orleans classics with Delta-inspired dishes. Think cornhusk tamales, pimento cheese plates and fried catfish with hushpuppies. [Eater 38 Member]

This perfectly fried, fresh pond-raised catfish has a crisp breading and a great choice of sides. Take your pick from southern-style corn bread, okra and tomatoes, or smoky peas—just to name a few. Read more

Ask for "Daddy's Little Fatty." Not on the menu and a splurge ( take Lipitor immediately after): Oyster Po'boy with slaw, pickles, pork debris, and ask for Creole mustard. Ultimate hangover cure.

The fried chicken with the mac n cheese, green beans with apple smoked bacon, hush puppies and good Southern sweet tea!

The pimento mac n cheese is the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The pulled pork is also phenomenal. Red beans slightly different than the classic, w/green peppers, but very tasty!

I highly recommend the satsuma mojito and the slow roasted pork, which is out of this world. Greens are a touch on the sweet side; order the green beans instead. They're remarkable, crisp, with bacon.

Nummy Nummy Southern food sourced locally (really - its of importance to Chef Jeremy Wolgamott) and prepared simply and properly AND the handcrafted cocktails are off the chain!

Solid upscale Southern diner fare. The prices might be a little bit high. Get the specials. They're usually the best food of the day.

Jesus Christ. Jeremy is an amazing cook. Get the lamb bacon BLT, when it's available. The service is spectacular. More napkins without being asked? Holy crap!
