- Christine WuFebruary 22, 2015Perfect hash browns, and cool interior. The staff here are so attentive and sweet.
- Roxy AMay 22, 2017My favorite breakfast or lunch spot in Hayes Valley. Service is friendly and prompt and there is something delicious on the menu for everyone. I like the guacamole chop salad and the Mexican scramble.
- Pacific UnionFebruary 4, 2013Nice vibe to enjoy with friends or alone. Delicious watermelon lemonade in the summer and highly recommend the breakfast dishes/eggs. Love the pear and gorgonzola sandwich.
- Josh WhelchelJanuary 14, 2015The vegetarian chile is fantastic. The small hint of Chipotle and such ridiculously well prepared peppers in the base make this a killer choice. We try to emulate this at home, but no imposter serves!
- Cristina CasasJanuary 6, 2019Good quality, tasty and big plates. It is a perfect place to have dinner before going to an event.
- Justin PakJanuary 7, 2017Breakfast tacos have juicy strips of steak and impossibly good pico de gallo. Rosemary hash browns are a must. Sub any other side for them.
- Quite pricey, but the food is delicious. I often find myself with rose tinted glasses spending $10 on a bagel breakfast sandwich. Mac n cheese is delicious.
- Their pies are great and I love their sandwiches. Staff is really nice, and you get free refills on almost everything even though it's not advertised.
- Chuck RoslofJune 20, 2016They've got lots of space, so it's a good place to sit calmly with some food, coffee, or a drink.
- VickyNovember 15, 2016The egg and avocado on toast was the best one I've ever had.. and there's a lot of avocado on toasts out there!
- Jackie ArseneauApril 9, 2013Conveniently right by the Davies Symphony Hall. Very friendly service. I was not so hungry so settled for a smoothie which was tasty. Menu looked great so I would like to come back to eat.
- Cathy BrooksNovember 21, 2012Staff is super nice, atmosphere is lovely but if you're here to work being your own Wi-Fi. Theirs sucks and they're stingy about how much time they give you.
- AprilAugust 16, 2012Independent, family-owned/ operated groovy eatery. Fresh ingredients, made from scratch cooking. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Nothing is bought pre-made. Would come here all the time if I lived here.
- Eishah Imaad SaleemAugust 18, 2015Freshly squeezed orange juice is refreshing, french toast and seasonal vegetable omlette is amazing with a side order of black beans
- Bohdan HnatkovskyyJune 8, 2015Perfect authentic place to have a breakfast. Benedict eggs and breakfast sandwich are awesome.
- There's so much to choose from here, but the Chicken Enchiladas are my favorite. They make a fantastic affogato too.
- Nishanth ChandranOctober 31, 2016Get the Veggie breakfast sandwich. It was so fresh, warm and the eggs were melt in your mouth juicy. Yum!
- Nice employees, but soulless management. They have no concept of what their customers want, or care if they do. This is my last check in, and visit. Get a clue, GROVE.
- Joseph AdamsFebruary 24, 2011The staff at this grove are super awesome. The space is a lot more chill and open then the others and as always the food is great! Try the mimosa and any of the pies :)
- Pam ☕️ ONovember 14, 2016I recommend the Slow Cooked Chicken thighs with lemon and olives. It's a sizeable portion of succulent protein!
- EuniAugust 21, 2017Medium sized yummy plates. Great vibe and breakfast all day!! applewood smoked bacon a must
- Lily HarrisJanuary 24, 2016Great hang out spot with great food! Fresh squeezed orange juice and lavender lemonade were delicious!
- Kevin MoranFebruary 18, 2011I walked past this place and it enticed me in with it's homely feeling. The people that run this place are super friendly and the food is really good. Free Wifi with $5 spend.
- Aaron DancygierSeptember 6, 2015Eggs Benedict with Lox was good second go around. First time was overcooked. They gladly redid the order to perfection.
- The Breakfast Special is very simple yet tasty. Eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast. Can't go wrong with that on a Sunday morning.
- Island BruinNovember 5, 2016Great place for a quick meal before the symphony or opera. Good wine and beer selections.
- Nitzan BMay 30, 2019Finally a decent salad! Everything looks great and good prices, staff was very nice
- Deepak ShrivastavaNovember 28, 2013Super casual atmosphere with pseudo-funky seating. Food was decent and ambiance even more casual. Grey for some coffee / tea or a light snack.
- Samantha HillMarch 13, 2017I definitely recommend the Brooklyn Chocolate Cake. It's super rich and large enough for two.
- Brad HoltMarch 24, 2015The Cubano is great, and their lemonades are fresh and delicious! Excellent staff and vibe here.
- My absolute favorite in San Francisco. So many good choices but the eggs florentine is one of my faves!
- Rachel EntwistleJuly 19, 2015Avocado toast, breakfast sandwich. I wish they would ring back the baked Moroccan eggs! It's a bit pricey but always good food.
- Haleigh TutrowNovember 25, 2012The Grilled Cheese with Avocado and a bowl of Tomato Soup makes a fantastic meal when the weather's a bit cool!
- Get the French toast yo...and don't forget to add the caramelized bananas!
- Kevin KelleyDecember 13, 2012If you have never been here I definitely recommend getting Dave's way. Also there pies are delicious if you have a little room left.
- Always a solid bet. Long lines at meal times but they move people through and have plenty of seating.
- @RoemMarch 1, 2013As convenient a location as this place is for a quick meeting or brunch in my hood, the prices are a bit steep compared to similar spots in the city. Food execution is inconsistent, but not bad.
- Oleg GodovykhNovember 15, 2016Better to avoid if your dental insurance isn't perfect. I was lucky enough not to break my teeth eating cherry pie with cherry pits inside. And all reaction I've got is "Oh, it would be very bad".
- Mark TutschulteJune 22, 2012The girl sitting across from me is super hott. Still waiting for my food so I don't have a tip about that yet.
- ashley tevatiaJuly 12, 2013Best of all The Groves. Big space, and open windows for weekend brunching!
- A good instance of this local chain's formula. Plenty of space and decent lunch menu. Tea good; coffee OK. Free wifi with code from the register.
- Always great food, kinda pricy, REALLY cute, tall waitress...def will be coming back for her
- Ashtyn BellJuly 12, 2013Oh yea, the Spiced Chai is top notch. They use a fair amount of cloves. It's good.
- Arlynne CakesDecember 14, 2014Never a bad experience, but a pretty regular breakfast place, maybe even overpriced, but I think I'm addicted to their tomato basil soup. Staff is super duper friendly.
- Shamone JeffersonFebruary 21, 2014Breakfast all day. $1 refill on coffee. Service is great! Food is fresh!
- New chai mix for sure. It's like a cardamom BOMB. Nice!
- Russell Allen EsmusAugust 8, 2014The food is expensive for what it is. I'm not a big fan of any of the Grove locations. Also-missed opportunity, Grove St. is one block away. They could have been The Grove on Grove Street.
- Island BruinMarch 16, 2016Lots of variety. Great spot for a quick bite before the symphony or opera.
