- Joanna SableJune 25, 2015It is no wonder that Woodlot has been around for quite a few years. Service is friendly, and the food spot on. A great passion for local and sustainable. I love any carb they have and salads too.
- Travel + LeisureJuly 20, 2012Chef-owner David Haman’s style of cooking has been dubbed “urban lumberjack”; almost everything comes out of the wood-burning oven. Try the whey-fed pork chop and caramelized Jerusalem artichokes.
- Cindy Ross PedersenFebruary 22, 2015Cool and cosy spot. Massive oven. Great home made bread. Very good pasta. Special veggie menu. You could spend a couple of weeks working through the fun restaurants in this neighborhood.
- Becca GilganNovember 2, 2018Small and cozy, perfect for date night or a small group of friends. A concise menu with great vegetarians options or you could share any of their delicious plates!
- Tzen-Yi GohMay 28, 2015So far my best meal of 2015. The pork chop is unbelievable, the pickerel is also great. But the best part of the meal was the linguine with toasted chickpeas and roasted lamb.
- Ryan BannonOctober 17, 2013An amazing place for dining with family or friends. A stone oven in the open concept kitchen provides the most amazing sourdough, fresh daily. Order freely, everything is delicious.
- ValNovember 14, 2013The fresh baked bread alone is worth the visit. Unlike most Italian spots, they have a separate entirely vegetarian menu. Nothing vegan on it, but they can accommodate vegans. Reservations reco'd.
- ValJanuary 2, 2014Their vegetarian menu is not always vegan-friendly. I suggest asking when booking your reservation. They were able to tweak some the apps and sides really well, but the mains felt uninspired.
- Bobby KennedyFebruary 15, 2016Everything we had was delicious, but the treat board of assorted little desserts at the end of the night was the showstopper.
- Dasha KovaApril 1, 2019used to be my absolute favorite special / celebration / date spot in the city; still amazing but quality has gone down a little in both food and service 😔
