- Gianna NebbiaAugust 30, 2015Their brunch was really great. Got the pork belly stuffed hash brown and eggplant caprese sandwich and both were to die for. Also create your own Bloody Mary
- Tokyo Burger with Muenster, sprouts, avacado, and pickled onions on buttered and grilled brioche with truffled sage Parmesan fries and truffle mayo dipping sauce.
- Vanessa GatlinFebruary 17, 2014(Best of Boston 2013-SALAD) Improper says, "Business lunches are a tough thing to get just right. Everyone wants a Cobb salad and it's always hold the bacon, hold the cheese, hold the lettuce."
- Lev AgranovichJanuary 20, 2018MET Back Bay, a restaurant by Kathy Sidell is located in the heart of Boston’s posh Back Bay neighborhood, MET Back Bay occupies an historic 1877 brick townhouse on the corner of Newbury and Dartmouth
- Erin BrooksAugust 14, 2014A slightly upscale brunch place right on Newbury St. There is a menu just for their Bloody Mary which can even be topped with a mini cheeseburger! Highly recommend!
- DensApril 17, 2013I'm usually a fan of the splitty-split, but if you're here for brunch w/ 3 peeps, I'd go splitty-split-split: Captain Crunch french toast + hash brown egg thing + breakfast burrito.
- Yannou ParisDecember 21, 2014Perfect for brunch or dinner, our waiter Russ was so friendly and helpful! Great customer service. Loved eggs Benedict.
- ChristineApril 22, 2014Great location for people-watching. Good food but be prepared to wait as the kitchen is very slow. My brother loved the pork stuffed hash so much that he wants to figure out how to make it himself.
- The best menu item I've found there recently is the Tokyo burger which is prime beef, meunster cheese, pickled red onion, sprouts and wasabi mayonnaise. Replace the regular fries with truffle fries!
- Andrew CAugust 23, 2017Classic American food... French fries were on point, as well as other food - decently large portions for brunch and the drinks were solid too!!!
- DebbApril 5, 2017Really good place to hang out. It's a little bit expensive but it worth it. Also the meals are really big, so you can share them.
- Hailey CrowelNovember 8, 2015The menu changes from time to time but this is always a reliable pick in Back Bay. The chicken parm will feed you for a week!
- Sarina TesorieroApril 16, 2017One of the best Bloody Mary's I've had! Nutella French toast and avocado toast is amazing!
- Ricky EngelbergJanuary 1, 2017Delivers thru Caviar. Great burger. Great steak tips. Chicken parm is like a pizza. Worth seeing. Not best chicken parm ever.
- Wendy BakerFebruary 5, 2012Awesome! Sat in the Library! We came all the way from LA and can't wait to come back ! Love the vibe - great pour! Yummy dessert - beautiful decor - going to come back for more!!!!!
- James ShayMarch 2, 2014Bar menu the pulled pork tacos are mouth watering. Waiter said marinated in chocolate. Amazing. MET club sandwich also outstanding!
- JoshuaNovember 7, 2015The pork hash for brunch is delicious. If they don't serve it up quickly though, the crispy texture turns soggy, which is kind of a bummer.
- Go with the ham and cheese sandwich (you actually get two mini sandwiches) which comes with a side salad but substitute the parmesan-truffle fries for the chips. Delish I promise.
- The bloody Mary is served with a hot sauce and I'm a so you can customize the heat.
- TraveleatshopSeptember 29, 2014Very fine food for dinner. You should try mac and cheese, hamburger and calamariiii. We ordered calamari two times, delicious.
- Carrie BevisAugust 20, 2016Green guru salad all the way. Sitting on the patio with a glass of wine and an app is always divine.
- Go with the Back Bay Burger which is dry-aged burger served with grafton vermont cheddar, fried onion straws, double think bacon on buttered brioche with a side of duck fat fried french fries
- Great beer selection including $.75 Miller High Life ponies on Sunday. All the burgers are so good and definitely don't miss brunch.
- Juan M Garcia CJuly 7, 2015Good service + reasonable prices + tasty food, equals the recipie of a good spot for brunch or lunch.
- Brian, the amazing bartender downstairs, is willing to personally concoct incredible cocktails tailored just for u. He and Monica make the trip worthwhile every time. :)
- Sarp ErkayaOctober 21, 2017Get the nachos - they are super delicious! Burgers are so-so (overcooked :/) The decoration is quiet blend though.
- Michael DowOctober 30, 2013Niles has rewritten the cocktail menu and he has some great additions. New, unusual and tasty.
- Allie EmJuly 22, 2014The seafood plate and the ham and cheese plates are my favorites. It's a great place to side outside!
- Sarah FalkenthalMay 28, 2017The only thing that was decent was their truffle fries. They managed to burn macaroni and cheese, forgot to bring condiments, and we had to flag our waitress down just to get the check.
- Great patio but cozy library bar for when the fall/winter arrive.
- Kyle SpenserSeptember 7, 2013Not the same as the Met Bar and Grill or Met Burger Bar in Natick. Menu is limited and not impressive. Though the wait staff is great and there is a great drink menu, I wouldn't recommend it.
- Chrissy MakkasApril 14, 2013Is it just me, or are the servers kind of rude EVERY TIME. I don't think I've ever encountered a pleasant server at Met Bar and I've been enough times for it not to be an unlucky coincidence.
- Katrina KibbenJuly 14, 2013The eggplant caprese for brunch- a-maz-ing. With a side of biscuits. No calorie counting here!
- Chris O'BrienAugust 1, 2016While the food is usually very good, the service is slow and disorganized. Refills for drinks took a long time and they brought out the appetizer with the main course. Somewhat frustrating
- Pardeep SandhuMarch 11, 2012OMG. The Kobe miniwiches r sooooo good. get the calamari with side of truffle mayo! Mmmmmm

- EvJanuary 26, 2013Bellini was crazy good. Pork stuffed hash brown was good except they burnt the hash brown
- Emmanuel L.May 27, 2013A little slow service, but their food is delicious. Recommend the Paris Burger.
- Ayman HusainApril 27, 2012Very nice burgers. Messy however. The decor is nicely balanced and for a Newbury establishment not bad at all.
- Forget the truffle fries - hit up the bar and get an Old Fashioned or Sazerac.
- DRAZMay 24, 2016Great location but service was abominable and food was mediocre. Tourist trap but with nice outside seating order something simple or just drinks if u must...
