    Top tip for all visitors to the UK, to avoid massive phone bills while in UK, you can pick up a pay as you go sim card from the vending machine in arrivals - between luggage belts 8 and 9

    There's not much to do here except wait, people watch and endure lots of people droning constantly into their phones.

    T5 flight connections queue (non-FastTrack) splits in two once you reach the left turn. There's a separate virtually empty UK Connections queue so breeze past everyone then nip back into this queue!
