- Jamie MaertensAugust 13, 2016Try the vegetarian momo. The palak paneer is the best I've had anywhere. Rich and creamy with perfectly cooked spinach. Pick your spice level when you order.
- Meghan KaneAugust 10, 2013Delicious! One six-piece momo app, one piece of naan and an entre is the perfect amount for two people! Veggie momo was our favorite. If you can handle spice, get your food "medium" spice level.
- City PagesJanuary 4, 2013One of the best post-hoilday eats! Gorkha makes it known that they use organic milk, butter, and cheeses, and if you do order something with chicken or lamb, it's often from a local farmer.
- The recipes and quality of ingredients make this restaurant a stand out! The owners are of Tibetan origin, so the “usual” Indian dishes have a unique, “Northern style” preparation that is delightful.
- Claire AndersonAugust 26, 2013the navarattan korma (veggies and paneer in a tomato cream sauce) was fantastic. next time i would also get an order of veggie mo-mos on the side.
- BradJuly 29, 2016They really bring the heat if you ask for it hot. After years in Minnesota complaining that spicy is never REALLY spicy, Gorkha delivered.
- DDMcsnatchMay 8, 2014Went there for happy hour and it was pretty decent. No bar on tap. I had the vegetable momos and they were good! Vegetarian and vegan friendly. 😁
- Dawn Marie PetersonJuly 24, 2013Fantastic Samosa's and Momo's. "Thai" hot curry was delicious and spicy. Next time I am going for "Gorkha" hot. :)
- Jen ParnesAugust 16, 2017Channa Saag with garlic roti was probably the most delicious thing that I have ever eaten. Ever.
- Jane BellOctober 23, 2016Absolutely amazing food and friendly staff! The Shrimp Thentuck was fabulous!
- Don't forget to order the chai tea. It's made from scratch. Perhaps the best in the Twin Cities!
- the palak paneer is so delicious, fresh and flavorful/try it with a hot level spice
- Peter QualeSeptember 28, 2010The lunch buffet is a great way to taste a bunch of dishes-- and they are all fantastic!! Read more
- Katie FlemingSeptember 5, 2011Chicken Tikka Masala is unbelievably flavorful! Don't forget the momo!
- Ravi RaoMay 19, 2012I'm very much a food snob when it comes to Indian. Gorkha Palace was quite average. Service was prompt. We had momos, samosas, and chicken dhaniya. Food was bland, chai tasted like steamed milk...
- NE Minneapolis needed this place. Very inviting atmosphere. Like that there were clearly labeled vegan items.
- I could eat the mixed vegetable curry and veggie momos every day and never tire of them! We love the warm welcome feel of the staff, too!
